If champions get tweaked instead of nerfed maybe the game would have total Balance

Nerf their core strengh, buff their weakness until both becomes stable here is a big exemple. Lissandra They nerfed her damage but gave her more CC. They made her Q lower cooldown but can poke frequently.

You will have total balance, and there will be next to no counterplay. A champ has to have weakness to be played against, so if nobody is good or bad at anything, the only thing we would have to go off of is their abilities and CC. There would be less late game champs, or lane bullies, because all would be similarly powerful throughout the game.

They power would be similar but their gameplay would be different. What I want to do is to make a champion be safe in any match up. People nowadays complain about champion being too oppressive in lane, having ridiculous ressourceless pokes and tons of damage, ridiculous mobility and tons of damage, ridiculous kiting potential and much more.

That's what makes them special.

Yup, everyone will have their playstyle.

Safe in any matchup means they must have no counterplay or weakness. But, to fit your description, they must also not be strong against anyone. Which means that no one has any counterplay.

I do not want to play a game where no champions have openings or counterplay or even strategies to beat them.

The game will become a Skillmatch up game like any fighting games.

No. In fighter games all fighters have strengths and weaknesses. Certain moves leave them open for attack while others are used to capitalize on opponents mistakes.

Because each fighter has a move for everything, they have the kit to do anything which comes down to the player to exploit them and use them wisely aswell as understanding your opponent playstyle and capitalize on their mistake.

Each fighter doesn't have a move for everything. What fighting games do you play? In smash bros some characters have range but get into trouble if an opponent can get up in their face with a good approach. So fighters have no approach and while be gods at fighting up close, can't touch a good ranged fighter.

I don`t play smash bros I play Street fighter, Tekken, Soul Calibur. I consider Smash to be a beat them up games not really a fighting game in my opinion.

All of those games are the same way. In tekken certain characters hit hard but leave bit openings for the opponent to set up a combo. The faster opponents usually hit for less and can take less damage but they leave little openings and can more easily capitalize on opponents mistakes. You aren't playing at a high enough level if you think all the fighters in those games have everything and that their isn't a tier list of some sorts.

There is no such thing as total balance. Even in a game like Halo where every person is Master Chief there still isn't balance (whoever spawns near the best weapons has an edge over the others).

Some champions have their numbers/abilities slightly over tweaked. RIOT does this on purpose (pretty sure they admitted that...too lazy to find source) It adds spice to the game and gets players to figure out the power of the lastest patch...and also figure out how to counter it. If it gets too rediculous there are always bans...

This is a game of synergy, counters, and cupcakes....not balance.

Total Balance isn't good

I'm sure they try and do this often. Regardless, with this many champions it is near impossible to achieve total balance. Some champions with always be better than others in most situations. This goes for dota and hots as well.
