Why no one wants to acknowledge that Heimerdinger is underpowered

  • He currently has the worst passive of all time
  • His Q SHOULD scale with a new passive and be more meaningful during late game
  • His W has a high cooldown and is basically only a damaging ability with no aditionnal effect. The only cool thing about that skill is the fact that it can activate thunderlord
  • His E is a stun spell that has the LONGEST cooldown of all basic stun spells. On top of that, it only stuns for 1,25 second at all level, has a high mana cost at level 1 and is extremely hard to land from distance which makes Heimerdinger having the most unreliable stun of all mages.
  • His R SHOULDN'T cost 100 mana upon activating it. If Heim wants to empower his Q, why not make it cast 100 mana when he casts his Q with his ult. He basically can waste all of his mana upon activating his ultimate on and off without doing anything.
  • His turrets are sometime so stupid that they can actually miss an IMMOBILE target.
  • Heimerdinger is one of the hardest mage to land his abilities. Coupled with HIGH cooldown spells and turrets charges, he can be completely useless during a period of time.

Because hes not underpowered, he just isnt built mage anymore, you play him for his insane pushing power with zzrot

You do realise that this build makes him pretty useless during late game right. And it happened that I DID try this build. No, it's not working on diamond.

What are you talking about. Most games that end before 20 minutes is because of players surrendering. I'm talking about a real game or a quality game where no players are raging against eachothers.

Most games i play, someone snowballs out of control and they push to end the game before 20 minutes, usually getting the win before baron even spawns, late game is a rare mystery in anything above low bronze

Well assuming he has a prority list for jis turrets, at the top of the list would be his last AA target, like Zyras plants. And fyi his Q always is considered SINGLE target, or at least i believe it is. Five man Ult-q? that could be a lot of health.

What do you mean by Single target. His turrets do Auto attacks so it cannot activate Thunderlord, unless they laser.

When on earth do you see Heimerdinger do a five man ult Q.

That's like saying Veigar 5 man W.

Wait it's been awhile, i thought his q was his missles? Becuse of how you aim them you can spread them out quite wide. The also do reduced damage per missile on same target. And TLD is a one off with his regular missile spell

Yeah. I can at least get close to a fed mages without having to chase them like Heimerdinger makes you do through his turrets.

It's like running after a freshly beheaded chicken through a mine field.

What is this. Have you ever tried destroying his turrets instead of trying to murder him. I guarantee you he won't be able to do a thing against you if he has no turrets unlike any other mages...

There is a reason why Heimerdinger is Strangely considered a god amongst low division players and a potato in high division.

I think it's more that the champions I play do not have the direct damage output to take out the turrets fast enough.

It's also been a long time since I actually played against him. So idk if he got nerfed recently.

I can directly tell you that Heim counters most Melee champ. That being said, there are so much more better mages that can insta burst you down

Well yeah, but most of those mages are harder to play in top.

And it's not burst that is annoying from Heimerdinger. It's his magic dps with those turrets (unless those turrets do physical damage. In which case I build wrong against him).

Dear OP where do i even begin

First off... you play heimer MAYBE once every 5 games, so youre someone who casually plays heimer

second... you have the SAME EXACT BUILD PATH in every game with him... regardless of lane opponent... you literally ALWAYS BUILD THE SAME ITEMS

The fact that you think abyssal, zhonya, and morellos are the 3 core heimer items to buy just proves you know nothing about this champion.

Also youre probably one of those guys who doesnt realise in team fights that ult + E is far supperior to ult + Q or ult + W

maybe you should learn a champion thoroughly before speaking about them. give it a try

So before you make any non sense comments about how I play heimerdinger, I suggest you make more research on my profile instead of just dropping a sneak peak.

  • I've played Heimerdinger since season 3 and average about 80 ranked games on Heimerdinger each season (the most being 155 on season 3 and 40 on season 6). That being said, I've played over 600 Heimerdingers games.
  • I have tried Hundreds of build on Heimerdinger and found out that Morello Zhonya and Abyssal happens to be pretty good on him. I do not always build these 3 items on every game. Go check for yourself.
  • You not being level 30 tells me alot about your experience on this game
  • I believe that you've never played Heimerdinger
  • Unless you are someone who has played at least 100 games with Heimerdinger, I don't think that I should listen to you

100 games? homie ive been at league since season 1 when TF had his fucking global ult on a skill bar that was actually global. 100 games on any champion is chump change, i have well over 15k games under my belt in this game.

smurf or not, you cant win games with 2-3 people literally inting. if you bothered to actually look at the game replay, you would see that. but again, youre just a fool. A mad fool whos bad at heimer and doesnt even understand heimer mechanics or build paths

If you're a so called ''smurf'', you can easily handle a below bronze game level. I've done it, can do it again.

Instead of keeping of telling me of being a fool, why don't you just say what is so good about Heimerdinger? Don't be shy, just tell me how Heimerdinger is supposed to be played.

Lol... Heimerdinger is not underpowered. He has more outplay opportunity than almost any other mage...He is a skill based character, kinda like Lee Sin, but fun
