Unlocking all champion costs over 660 EURO
Before anyone complains that this does not relate to gameplay, try playing the game without champions.
Can someone explain to me why is noone talking about this? Yeah I get it, you can unlock champions for free for blue essence. However consider this, you have to play quite a few games to level up. And this gets SLOWER indefinitely. Not only that, the rewards are RANDOM. Play 12 games for 1 level up and you get Fiddlesticks champion shard? Well you are shit out of luck. 12 games before used to be at least 1000 IP, at very least. Now you can get scammed from 90 BE for those 12 games to lucky 1260 BE. And next time it will be 13 games. I am one of lucky guys that sits on 135k BE and tens of champion shards that I didnt shred yet. But can someone explain to me how did this game go from consistent rewards for every single win or loose to random rewards that make you feel like shit? You cant even aim to unlock certain champion anymore, you either shred shards which is highly inefficient or you use shards you get to unlock champion that you dont want but is kinda viable. Is this really what new generation of league players want? Because veterans dont give a shit. But is this really going to make player base grow? Inconsistent random rewards and no way of enjoying the game without paying 660 EURO which is literally a decent gaming system, on which you can play better games, or spending LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF HOURS?
I do not understand this decision Riot. Is this "casual" friendly? Sinking in thousands of hours or spending hundreds of dollars? At this point you should remove the "Free game" as one of your advantages. Because grinding isnt fun. And fun isnt free anymore. Either remove game, or free. Or just, you know, make the new player experience not shit. Maybe thats how this game can actually see any grow in player numbers.
