So many weird picks I don't even know if this is considered a "meta" anymore.
I know everyone has been complaining for a while about the staleness of the meta, and how the same champions are constantly on top (and adc's are a necessity). But my games barely have an adc anymore, I'm constantly getting weird picks like fiora jg and duo top lanes - if this is what everyone wanted, that's totally fine. I'm just confused, and I don't understand how to play in this "meta".

"explore off meta" litterally just play kaisa, lucian or mf and any aggro other champ as a support, if you dont you lose. thats some exploration and variation you got there my friend!

DuskDaUmbreon5 votesUnfortunately, with ADCs not being meta, that pulled tanks and enchanters away from being as useful. This means that fighters are now able to roll over everyone easily.
Which means tons of random shit is meta now. Best/most fed bruiser (or just the team with the most bruisers) wins game.

Exactly. It's basically not a meta. Metas are bland because things become predictable and stable. By not knowing what's going to happen, the game becomes more unpredictable, filled with greater variety, and thus more fun.

webstar19954 votesYea man it is CRAZY! Look at what Eco Fox and Fnatic did in week one! Also now something coming into meta is a Braum or other tank support mid. While Taliyah or Yi farm up in jungle and get waves mid. Then the support mids roam for ganks or follow the jg for a double gank. It is nuts! I think this strat is better not in solo queue unless you are in discord with jg/mid or you are duoing.
