Seeing how good the Madstone (Madred's Razor + Spirit Stone) is on jungle Udyr (Trick2G ftw), I have to wonder how good it is on Shyvana. Her clear speed is already good, but would it be insane with Madstone?
Could make her invades strong if her opponent ganks a lot. Sabotaging the enemy jungler can be as deadly as ganking.
redniwediS3 votesMadstone is already iffy when it comes to strength. It's alright in general, ranging from horrible if you need to help your team to absolutely fantastic if most of your lanes win. That said Shyvana has no mana, and so not only is it already an iffy item combo but there will also be wasted stats.
I would say 700g for a little extra healing is not worth while, as Shyvana can get armor or damage that will be far more useful in the long run.
darkdill1 votesIt's not just the healing, but the massive clear speed. Shyvana's clear speed is already strong, but with Madstone it can let her destroy a camp in less than 5 seconds. Perfect when you're repeatedly invading an enemy Lee Sin who wants to gank too much.
redniwediS1 votesYou could spend that gold on two longswords and have a similar boost to damage early on. Shyvana has no CC and so she needs to spend her gold on things that will help her fight. Spiritstone does nothing to help her there, and besides she should be destroying camps that fast anyway, she is Shyvana after all.

also let me speak on udyr example if enemy jungler knows when you are running with wrigless and spirit stone while he has spirit stone and 2 long swords or maybe even elder lizard then the jungler with the long swords will whack the flor with udyr who is believed to be one of the strongest champions early game and he ideed is
madstone is a noob trap for those who cant use it and even those who actualy are good at using it (rare occasions) are fighting with the game itself, game is made to require junglers presence in early game while madstone throws it away for jungle control (this is what difers good madstone player from bad madstone player, bad madstone player will stack the flare and lose cause he sucks, good madstone will pump his team full of gold meaning that they are quite decent despite having no ganks and starve the enemy jungler of gold making it a decent 5v4, still madstone is weak so its easy to fail )

12tales3 votesShyvana's clearspeed with Wriggle's alone is already beyond ridiculous. Honestly, getting boots of speed would probably increase your clearspeed more than Spirit Stone - she spends more time walking between camps than killing them as is.
Here's my personal rule of thumb when it comes to madstone -
A) Are you trick2g?
If [Answer A] = Yes: Cool. If [Answer A] = No: Just build a real item like every other jungler.
Linna Excel1 votesIMO you'd be better off saving the 700 since it is almost enough for a vamp scepter. You can then parley the vamp into a BORK or Hydra.
