So... what are the clash tiers based on now?

I'm gold V 0LP, in solo Never been higher than G5. I'm BRONZE 3, in flex.

but i'm TIER 1 for clash??????

WTH riot? may as well just not bother to even try playing

You guys are talking about your own ranking then your Clash teams tier - Have you thought about your teamates rankings?

Doesn't it go by the highest member in the team? So 4 B5's cant get 1 plat and be in a low tier.

ok so theres talk about tiers being too high or too low. Im P1 tier 2. For those of you saying you're tier 1 I feel for you. I wouldn't play clash if I was a gold or silver tier 1 fuck that. For those of you complaining about being tier 3 or 4, are you kidding. I would love to be tier 3 or 4 and I'm P1. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth guys. Enjoy the fact that you have a much bigger range of people that you can play with.

same i was tier 3 last clash, but now i'm tier 1 and my rank solo elo didnt change much.

looks to be a bug then im plat 5 tier 1, was tier 2 during beta. I don't think either of us are tier 1.

oh good.

I played a bunch of matches on the weekend I always get total garbage teams on the weekend, so i figured that would screw my MMR pretty hard.

Sure did!

ended up with 1 win, 9 losses. Surprisingly , did not derank. but my MMR is now silver 2. "yay". and clash is now showing me as tier 3.

I am gold 3 in Soloq and Silver 3 in Flex 5v5 and Silver 2 3v3 (doubt this makes a diff)

I did not play during the beta.

"Your Clash Tier: Tier 4"

Makes no sense...

G5 and G4 on here and Tier 3. Other acct Silver 3 and bronze 2 also = Tier 3 [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

during beta, it was actually based on some kind of stupid MMR average of the members. I was a tier 2, on a tier 3 team or something like that.

Not 100% but my team is 5 silvers and we are Tier IV - This is what I have read online. I am not 100% though, but as far as i am aware thats how it is

I am gold 3 Tier 2.. i have like 60% winrate in soloq. thats just ridiculous to get matched with plat/diamond because i have a good winrate lol

Matchmaking tiers

Unlike ranked, teams will be assigned a tier for the duration of the weekend. The tiers will roughly divide teams into four sections - Tier IV at the lowest and Tier I at the highest. These tiers are “bottom-weighted”, so there’ll be more players in Tier IV. You’ll see your team’s tier adjust as you add or remove players.

Individual tiers are determined by your Flex or Solo/Duo ranking - and at launch, you’ll also have a rating that is derived from your previous Clash history. Team tiers take a weighted average of the roster, but it heavily prioritizes the highest-skill players—so it’s likely that comps of players with vastly different skills may have some tougher matches ahead. You’ll see a popup if your team has a mixed skillset.
