I recently noticed that I was getting silvers in my ranked game back when I went on an 8 game win streak. But what I don't understand is why im still getting mid silvers when my mmr is low b1. Im still getting s3-s4 in my games, and it's getting kinda ridiculous cause I can't seem to win any games. I've gone from 88 lp to 30. Is this normal for b1? Cause when I first got b1, I was getting bronze players.
Means your mmr is inflated, which will lead you to climb faster, its a good thing, as you lose more, your mmr will stabilize and put you back with bronze. As of now, riot’s systemthinks you belong in silver 4~ so they put you against them.
After some investigation I came to the following conclusions.
Most of those silver players have B2 MMR just like you.
The High silver vayne in your previous game was duo'd with a guy with MMR the same as you.
Cuz those players REAL rank is the same as yours, it's called mmr and decides who you're matched with. Your rank only decides wether or not you get rewards.
Yeah your MMR was just inflated. If you were using op.gg their algorithm for MMR is completely different from LoLs. The more you win, the more your MMR inflates, and vice-versa. You can inflate your MMR to the point of skipping divisions. Silver isn't even a good division. To me, there isn't much playstyle difference between B1 and S3.
