If you pick fill right now, you almost are always guarenteed 10 sec queues and jungle. It used to be support but now is jungle If you pick jungle right now, queues are about 0-3 secs. Why is jungle suddenly so unpopular?

Challenging role, JG xp nerfs have been frustrating (being lvl 4 when solo lanes hit 6 on average), Almost forced to pick a JG that can viably start Full red side clear for lvl 3 from 3 camps, otherwise you'll be lvl 2 for scuttle fights, And partly due the the Jg xp nerfs and partially to the damage/burst meta, if you lanes do too badly in their 1v1's/2v2 you lose a ton of agency to impact the game since them being solidly ahead of their lane opponent (your ally) puts them most likely even further ahead of you than that since you are getting nerfed xp/gold from jg.

Previous seasons, if you Pathed well, killed camps as they spawned and ganked periodically you could be about 1 lvl under the solo laners on average, and if you were stomping the enemy jg and counter jungling etc you could be equal level to the solo lanes, now the only way to do that is taking a massive amount of lane farm/xp on top of your camps.

B/c of these changes and the meta, jungle skill/knowledge difference is exaggerated: For example say Im jungling against someone who doesnt know that the fastest lvl 3 is Red>krugs>raptors, I run into him at skuttle w/ lvl 3 and redbuff to his lvl 2 and blue, I kill him or force flash and then get free double skuttle and am now way ahead. (bonus is the added variable of which Jg's laners will look at minimap and help him in skirmishes). Anyway with how snowbally the game is if you get put behind as a jungler now that the role is weaker its much harder to make a difference.

And b/c of Jg being the main role that can affect the whole map, if you do get snowballed on, or see your lanes losing and try to farm up/pressure the enemy jg so they can't help their already winning lanes, either way you will likely get flamed.

Because it takes forever to learn, requires TONS of memorization of timers, all kinds of routes, and while you're trying to figure out where you need to go, you also need to consider where your opponent is likely to be, and if you face someone who knows what they're doing you are basically guaranteed to lose.

Because it isn't fun anymore, currently meta always force you to go red side this makes you easier to get predicted and early game junglers extremely powerful that leaves you no chance to outplay them.

One of the most difficult roles to play but also has the least carry potential after riot kicked us in the nuts then spat on us. Then came back and beat us with a bat.

Idk, I kind of like jungle. Definitely a much more enjoyable role for me than adc or support.

Too much pressure put on the biggest determining factor of the game

If you win jungle you win game 95% of the times

Just look at my last game , I went 12-2 on top, by looking at it you might think I played well but no, I managed to kill Hecarim after my Udyr dueled him in the jungle 1v1 and then I killed Cassio, she tped back on a minion while I had 10% hp but my Udyr looped around through her tower and we killed her making me 3-1 at 4th min, I just took over and dove Cassio under her tower from that point on.

Now imagine if Hecarim actually ganked me and Udyr was just sitting in his jungle early ... Things would go way different.

Jungle is Overpowered by nature and there is nothing Riot can do about it unless they revert jungle to Season 1 state

Because Lee is the only solo que jungle champ that can make a difference in losing lanes. and ensuring your laners dont get stomped early game is a big deal. So, Lee is pretty much the only viable solo que jungler if u want to have any kind of impact, rather just just ride out a win or a loss.
