Does Zed Need A Nerf?

Zed has had a plethora of buffs this season from patches 8.4, 8.6 and 8.7. While it was fine and dandy at the time considering how dominant adc's and supports were, now that standard adc's have been nerfed a ton, shouldn't zed be as well? Not even accounting adc's, any squishy can't be near a zed if he has his ult up. It just feels helpless if you are alone against him as a mage and he solo kills you once in lane. He can too easily and reliably jump onto you, ult and only hit like a single auto attack or e (not even hitting his q mind you) to kill you while he just takes his shadow away. And the worse part is, he doesn't have to be fed. He could be like 4/6 or something and still kill you just as fast.

So what are your thoughts? Is it just me?

You're actually lying like hell here. Zed only got a R cooldown decrease buff, then compensationbuff-nerf for duskblade nerfs, then zed's winrate still fell so they had to undo the nerf part of the buff-nerf which has left him at a 50% winrate for awhile.

I wanna rip my hair out playing Zed in my elo. He's a poke champion in lane and your poke spell is stuck as a level 1 spell till lvl 4. The lynchpin of his entire kit has a 22 sec cooldown that gets maxed last, so you if anything happens around the map earlygame it's almost impossible to assist. Part of the reason for that is because zed's main damage spell is always gonna be a couple points weaker than the normal champion which means you can't effectively shove without using W which then means you don't have it up to help team ( You can actually verify that zed was meant to push quickly only using Q if you goto his release info on his wiki). The passive is useless as you won't be able to proc it in lane against a player who isn't greedy enough to stay in lane while low against an assassin.

If you want my thoughts, Zed needs a lowscale rework. His passive is only useful at low elo and his W awful at high elo because of the cooldown. All Riot should do is move the passive dmg to Q via slight base dmg increase+better AD scaling, and buff the W cd to 18sec which would help high elo. This would effectively make it harder to CS aswell as nerf any all-in where you miss Q (So for example when you said Zed didn't even Q you, This would make it so you need to be lower before he can kill you in the same combo, effectively making him harder but more rewarding and at the same time more punishing as killing low hp targets without hitting your spells would be a lot harder).
