Was ARSR a success?
I remember Riot saying something about if the game mode was well enough received it would become a permanent game mode. So my question is, did it succeed? We haven't gotten any feedback about the mode since it hit rotation.

no its trash and a worse version of nemesis draft
Its garbage and Riot should be ashamed of themselves for promoting it as a "fun" game mode
its better than urf thats for sure
Yeah, ARSR was pretty dull.
And nemesis draft isn't bad at all, they just need to tweak it a bit to make it work. I think it could do really well with 10 bans in place, as well as some other tweaks to gameplay.
It's good for people who just want to fill, but I agree, it's kinda lame especially when you don't get the same benefits as regular rift like mastery tokens
Actually you get everything you would on normal rift, Riot said this themselves. All it is is random champions, nothing else changed.
I've gotten S's in it with no tokens sooo not sure if it was just an initial problem or what but haven't played since.
Meddler did talk about how ARSR was kind of a baseline mode, a kind of filler to get some data about the nature of the random mode, as well as give them time to work on a more advanced mode (I assume he was talking about Dark Star) I don't remember where exactly the post is, but the jist was that it was successful in the sense that they got some good data from it for future modes, but that they weren't planning to bring it specifically back.
