Things that make you just shake your head...

*Out-damaging your ADC... as support.

*Out-damaging the enemy Nasus... as support.

*Warding more than the support... as a top laner.

*People not leashing for junglers... then the jungler going for red/blue buff without leash... and dying.

*When you successfully shield your teammate's escape... only for them to run back in and die.

*Your team leaving you to defend turret... as support... when at least 2-3 of them are nearby, more focused on kills than objectives.

*When your teammate says "warding is the support's job" when you stress the importance of warding.

*When you go from a nice, easy champ select to half your team trolling in match, causing you to nearly lose a match that started as a 5v3.

*Teammates saying "let's do baron" when the enemy team is fed, you're down a teammate, and all of them are up.

*Junglers who say they're coming, only to sit in a bush and twiddle their thumbs. Bonus points for when you're Sona and he just sits there as you ult two of them under your turret.

*People who won't shut up about how Teemo "counters" Garen, even when you cite your 9-3 record against the Little Satan.

*When you're trying to lobby/beg for a role in champ select and somehow you winning 70+% of your matches with a particular champion in the last 30+ matches with a KDA of over 7 isn't enough to sway them from taking the role you want (and that they're awful at) because "that (AKA winning) doesn't matter."

*Accidentally ulting/flashing/etc. The worst of them all, though, is when you somehow TELEPORT by accident... to the turret you're standing right next to. I've done that. Don't know how, but I have.

*An uber fed Master Yi in co-op stealing over half of your blue buffs when you're jungling. Including stealing the enemy's blue buff when your teammate points it out.

*Nervously button-mashing with Sona in sticky situations and coming out with a double kill. I have more double kills with Sona than I'd like to admit.

*Igniting someone specifically to secure the kill for yourself, only to somehow lose it to someone else.

*When you recall after having just won a team fight and, by the time you're back, your entire team's been killed because they overstayed their welcome and you weren't there to bail them out.

*Basically, anytime someone besides me goes top. I loathe nearly everyone who does. Why? I might be overly critical as I main top, but it's rare that they don't make me die a little inside, largely because practically nobody in bronze, top lane or otherwise, seems to know how to play from behind. I start 0/3 thanks to Voli camping Riven's lane for her? Finish 10/7/10, the only positive one on my team. That was my worst match in WEEKS, at least, and I still finished with a KDA of 2.86. Only been under 2 once. But about half the time someone else goes top, especially if they fall behind early, they're lucky to manage 1:1.

*When you buy three mystery skins and one has the worst splash art you've seen and is for a champion you own but have never played (Sivir; Spectacular Sivir), another is for a champion you hate (Dr. Mundo; Mr. Mundoverse), and another is a lame skin for a champion you only play when circumstances force you to play ADC, which is almost never (Caitlyn; Resistance Caitlyn).

I'll stop there.

When I try to defuse a situation between my teammates arguing by saying "Guys chill out, we all make mistakes" then they both start flaming at me because I'm 7/1 but my one death was to the enemy akali and they claim she'll snowball off that one kill

Telling the jungler i dont want a gank and they charge in anyways and end up dying after taking two minion waves

Jungling, being asked for ganks in all three lanes, then getting flamed at after i get a kill top lane because bot and mid wanted me to gank them first

EkkoFroffles4 votes

Junglers in general just can't win. You're never doing enough. Everything's always your fault. It's why I don't jungle more, despite being a pretty good Wukong jungle. The constant stress created by your teammates can be overwhelming.

SmknWdl4 votes

Ive been taking a jungling break because of that shit. I played a game where all my lanes pushed hard, then screamed at me for not ganking. They expected me to turret dive against a heavy cc team at like level 4 shyvana. I was so done. Then they blamed me for the loss even though i had the best score because i knew when to go in and when to not go in.

Leti the Yeti3 votes

my cousin forgot to bring smite as the jungler they were all blaming him by the time they spawned nope, it doesnt even matter how they fked up in lane in the upcoming minutes, it was all cuz the jungler didnt have smite

another time there was some confusion over who was the jungler during champ select and our team comp got botched up abit... actually no the team comp was fine just people was stubborn and didnt feel like swapping lanes like we had an adc champ call mid...refused to go bot for the sake of the team so swain... WHO WAS A PERFECTLY CAPABLE MID LANER, get's put bot lane :l and you know who the blame fell upon? "hey who's the guy with smite?" "LOOK, THAT GUY HAS SMITE, IT'S ALL HIS FAULT ZED IS FED NOW DSDFSFHDASQDBNDBND" i had the misfortune of picking smite ;l

Of course I cant tell my team "HEY! maybe if quinn swapped lanes with swain... we could have a normal adc/supp bot and mid lane mage, rengar's already top! so everything works out" it's my word against the 4 of em...

*Warding more than the support... as a top laner.

I'm mid and I actually ward more than the support most of the games. People haven't realized how OP item 3361 is yet.

EvilRabbitt1 votes

So true.

EkkoFroffles1 votes

With how little my teammates tend to ward, though, they can't even be using their trinket every time it's up. So asking them to upgrade that trinket seems kinda pointless.

EvilRabbitt1 votes

Lol. I do when its up, but I rarely buy spares. I tend to end up being the carrier. =/ I don't know how to close a game out when I say "push mid to win" and my team is off farming jungle or being like "i'm too low to do that" (aced). =/

ActuallyArrow5 votes

Rammus Ok.

EkkoFroffles1 votes

Don't you want to add some things that make YOU shake your head? I started this thread for that purpose.

ActuallyArrow10 votes

But you practically took everything I would have said. xD

IcyPepper4 votes

When the enemy Rammus chases a Shen with 10% hp (that was me in this game) all the way from his inhibitor to my inhibitor turret, giving my jungler (who I was on mic with) time to clear half his own jungle and walk out for a free kill once I taunted Rammus.

Oh the irony.

Stay thirsty, my friends.

EkkoFroffles2 votes

When I play Garen, I'm the master of making people waste their time chasing. One time I was near the enemy base and the entire team started up a chase. It went almost to our base, but I escaped alive by using my W to shield myself and the speed boosts from my Q and E.

Which reminds me. I have another. When I go to Q away with Garen, yet accidentally hit my Q on the enemy... only to die because I screwed up my escape.

Trylobyte4 votes

Things that make me shake my head...

  • Planning an initiation, coordinating it with my team, jumping onto the enemy team, unleashing a huge amount of CC... and dying by myself because my ADC is killing the three melee creeps I jumped over and the other three people don't want to go in without them.

  • Junglers who wait until I'm out of mana or very low on HP before trying to gank, then dying and yelling at me for not helping. Even better, junglers who gank without checking if I'm in lane first.

  • Watching anyone without a lot of burst try to tower-dive Shen, Morgana, or Karma.

  • When someone goes on tilt because I KS'd him... on a kill where I did most of the damage anyway.

  • Watching someone demand meta picks, mock newbies, or rage... in a bot game.

  • Whenever I have to go back to heal and find myself 50-75 gold off a big item. To wait or not to wait...

  • When Karthus or Shen are too busy farming to watch for good chances to use their ultimates. When Tryndamere uses his ult at the start of a fight and spends the whole time CC'd. When Kayle and Zilean aren't paying attention and forget to ult, or only ever ult themselves.

  • When Katarina jumps in and tries to ult right next to Leona, Nautilus, or Rammus.

RavenKouhai4 votes

When you're far ahead but your team prolongs until late game so the enemy catches up and wins. Worst feel ever.

EkkoFroffles2 votes

I still have PTSD from one ranked match where we ended with a huge advantage in kills but lost because my team refused to group like the enemy team. So it went like this. Early game, in laning phase? We dominate. Mid-late game, everyone keeps pushing without wards, walking right into 3v1s, and following that a turret usually went down. The worst throw I've ever born witness to.

EvilRabbitt2 votes

Sounds like my 22/4/17 ahri game. PTSD buddies?

EkkoFroffles1 votes

After my last game, I think I need a support group. When you're getting shredded as Garen, you know things are bad. That's what happens, though, when Xin Zhao feeds 26 kills to your opponents... on purpose. At one point he took out their ward at baron, then proceeded to start soloing baron while basically the whole enemy team was halfway up mid lane.

I'll stop there.

I have yet to do a mystery skin because of the pure randomness. I wish that if you mystery gifted yourself, that it would only pick a skin from like your top 5 played champ pool.

I'll add some others:

*Playing teemo and buying homeguard to help out getting back to lane to only realize that homeguards very rarely work because of poison damage being applied on someone

*People NOT buying MR vs a Heavy AP team or buying Armor vs a Heavy AD team then bitching later about how they are getting shredded.

*going 4/1 top lane on hecarim vs a GP, to then get ganked by their jung AND mid, and the rest of the team saying, "GG, this hec" while the screen contains ZERO Mia pings.

*watching a yasuo take your blue buff as you are udyr who has to spam mana usage spells constantly.

*watching my blitz/thresh consistently hooking braum/leona instead of the adc.

*the rage

Pæan1 votes

BTW random boxes are awesome. Just mystery gifted myself and got the only shaco skin i needed to complete my collection. 490rp for a legacy skin i might not be able to ever get? yes pls!

*when my entire team decides it's better to camp tribush than help me survive an invade from the enemies. *when i can play blitzcrank and spam laugh while in a bush and the enemy botlane zones themselves... *when a zed/katarina blames lag after using entire combo and flashing an enemy spell -_-

Anidan1 votes

My friend has the luck that I hate. He got Spirit Guard Udyr and DJ Sona from those mystery boxes. :\ Ah well, I have the skins I care about for now.

Pæan1 votes

Yeah I gifted a friend and he got Pulsefire Ezreal. This was after i gifted myself and got snowmerdinger and astroteemo -_- both great skins but i dont play those champs as much as i would Ezreal.

EkkoFroffles1 votes

My friend gifted me a mystery skin for Christmas and I got a Mundo skin then as well. That makes two skins for a champion I don't intend to play ever again. I tried him again just because I felt I owed it to my friend to use the skin at least once, but it just reaffirmed my hatred for Mundo. But at least my friend made up for it by buying me Volcanic Wukong for my birthday a month later.

When I gifted him one, he got another Poppy skin, basically giving him all of her skins. And he doesn't really even play Poppy. Needless to say, our luck with mystery skins is no good.

Pæan1 votes

Haha! I'm the proud owner of Lollypoppy thanks to a friend... that face, can't unsee. It's going to be the greatest thing ever once they rework her though.

When you've just ignited a person running away and you're just about to get the kill but somebody on your team purposly KS's. Comon man....that was my ignite...

JevelFaithful1 votes

I know it depends, but you never know what that potion, support passing by or shield is going do come back on and save a life. Unless the kill is assured, I'd rather it's taken by someone than it risk going away.

Sometimes, you just don't notice the smite. Some of us don't take dots into accound. Sorry. Or we tunnel vision on killing that guy running away.

EvilRabbitt1 votes

When you toss your ignite on someone (lvl 5 for me, sometimes 6 for the all in) who has 70 hp left.

JevelFaithful1 votes

Point taken.

EkkoFroffles3 votes

*When your friend, who does things like Sona jungle and Katarina support, is at times higher up in ranked than you.

*When you're laning against a Nasus, Fiora, Tryndamere, etc., a champion you really don't want fed, and you dominate them in lane... only for your teammates to feed them even when you give them plenty of warning with pings every time they leave lane.

*The duo-top match-ups in bot matches. Is Riot TRYING to troll you with those? Basically how they all work is you step out of turret range and they CC you and knock you down to about half health in a couple seconds. I'm just waiting for the Blitzcrank, Leona top lane.

*When, despite Wukong being your second most played champion after Garen, you still find yourself ulting his damned clone.

Sinister Snail3 votes

Thresh When nobody clicks the damn lantern, then complains about bad engage/escape.

EkkoFroffles1 votes

Even I'm guilty of forgetting the lantern at times. You'll often see me saying "sorry, Thresh... I know... I forgot." But practically every time I remember it, it saves my butt.

ttururu3 votes

This looks fun.

*When you buy yourself a few mystery skins, and they're all skins of the free champions (Garen, Tristana, Alistar) you got from subscribing to social media. Doesn't help that they have 321904893 skins each

*When I play Thresh, and despite how many times people have seen it in the LCS and in streams and basically everywhere, they won't click the goddamn lantern and then proceed to die.

*Despite warding now being a team effort, you find out after a game that out of the 46 wards placed, you put down 38 of them

EkkoFroffles3 votes

I honestly don't think anyone will be able to beat this:

  • Your jungler feeding 26 (TWENTY SIX!) kills to the enemy team... BECAUSE SOMEONE ACCIDENTALLY STOLE SCUTTLE CRAB.

Oh, and same match:

  • When you and a teammate initiate on 3 enemies, and your Nid, who has the most kills on your team and is at like 3/4 health, just stands there and lets you die instead of getting the easy triple kill. Oh, and when you ask why, she says it's BECAUSE it would've been an easy triple.

I was all set to play a lot of ranked tonight in the hopes of continuing to work my way towards Bronze III... but after that match, which cost me 19 LP, bringing me down to 11, I'm done for the night. Just 100% done.

Those times where you go in really aggressively and zone/kill both the enemy mid, support, and adc in a teamfight, but the enemy top and jungle were apparently strong enough to 2v4 the rest of your team.

Lemme add some too: When you're about to kill Kalistas slave yet she uses ult to save him and laughts at your efforts

When after dodging 319847623784 nidalee spears you decide to go in against her just to be stomped by her cat form combo (Q 700 dmg)

When you can't catch enemy as trynda with ghost + tenacity + boots of swiftness cause of neverending slows. They they scream "outplayeed!!111one". More like outkited.. bunch of aholes..

When one of your teammates has "lucky day" and picks all the kills with last hitting while rotfling, leaving you with nothing more than assassists

When you have sweepers/oracles yet some retard has to walk right infront of you and pop all Teeemos shrooms.

When Malphite uses ult only for his own score. kills > winning teamfight > objectives

Edit, 1 more:

When tank sacrifices for his team so they could either run away or destroy turrets and everyone goes Yolo and either die miserably or chases 10% random champion with mobility while forgetting to do what they were supposed to (that's why i never play tanks anymore)

  2. Team refuses to build defense. Good luck trying to kill our fed enemies when you go splat every couple of minutes.

  4. Support won't buy any gold items and refuses to build Sightstone.

Garen - #1 in dmg to champs... with a Kalista and a Kat on our team... http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1769837990/202703050?tab=stats

JJI7442 votes

The trainwreck.

That is, when someone is just playing in a way that makes you seriously question how they made it to plat.

Ex: Jarvan the fourth jungle. We will ignore the assorted deaths, but we wont ignore:

  1. Lets max Demacian standard first.
  2. Lets go from blue smite to red smite back to blue smite over the course of 2 minutes (and this is the patch where that costs gold.)
  3. Lets finish our jungle enchant at 19 minutes because we want to get all the components for Ageis first.
  4. Speaking of Ageis, lets have our first major (non-jungle) item be a Locket, agaisnt the team with 4 AD champs and a support.

What I can only assume is related: when people can't play a certain role, but don't bother telling the team in champ select. I can't play ADC, I know I can't ADC, I tell my team every champ select that leaving me as ADC should be a last resort. So why do people keep quite in champ select, then complain that "I can't play support/jungle/top"

EkkoFroffles1 votes

See, I have the opposite problem. When someone in champ select can't play a particular role, they just start saying "if I (insert role here) we lose" repeatedly. And sometimes my teammates will still force them into that role. They aren't often kidding, either. I mean, I say nobody wants me to ADC, but I'm at least a savvy enough player by now to not feed so much that I'm a complete liability. Compare that to the guy who had a 17% win rate with Ezreal, with a KDA of just over 1, and said absolutely nothing in champ select. Those are the sorts of results I get.

Squidblimp2 votes

When the support doesn't buy sightstone, and builds full AP or full AD instead.

When someone picks Katarina, but mid lane was taken already, so they go Katarina "support" and steal all the ADCs minions and kills.

When someone tries to 1v5 the enemy team. What the heck were they expecting?

When the enemy team and your team are having a standoff, and then your team decides to go in one by one and die, like in those movies where the bad guys only fight the good guy one by one so he can take them on easily.

When nobody follows up on your AOE CC ult initiation, and they just sit there like nothing happened.

When the ADC rushes Runaan's Hurricane as their first item.

When the jungler starts at red or blue when it's much better to start at Krugs or Gromp now.

When nobody upgrades their trinket.

Jelubi1 votes

Wait...you mean I'm NOT supposed to deal more damage than a Mid lane Mage Carry as Blitzcrank Karma Morgana Nami Nunu Sona Zilean when I build damage?

Seriously though, why do supports do either more or safer damage than Mage Carries? Karma, Sona, Zilean are some well known nuke supports but recently I even find out champs like nami can do in the range of 700-900 damage with a damn bubble. I understand if they are built damage they should deal damage but, since they specialize in the support role it isn't right for them to specialize in support but also be on par with champs like Swain, Brand, Heimerdinger etc. in the damage dealt department too.

terkmc3 votes

Karma rework was specifically aimed at her being more mage-like and Morg was originaly a mid laner, Blitz was originally a top laner. Zilean have percisely one damage spell so its damage must be high and Nunu have high base damage an one reliable damage spell. Sona its mostly the lich bane doing the damage

Pika3103 votes

Sona does the lowest damage of the entire support class, 2nd to Braum. Her lone damage spell was nerfed by 20% and is tied for the lowest base amongst the support class, her passive has been nerfed by a full 60% and her aura was removed and replaced with a bubble that grants roughly 2/3 less damage AT BEST. I think this quote sums it up best:

"The problem is that even if Sona is 10-0 fed, she can't deal enough damage to 100-0 a squishy because she is basically a floating pinata with a child's toy keyboard." ~ A Wild AP Sona
