Removing the bonus AP from blue buff seems like a good idea

Its changes blue buff from an AP favoring buff to a more overall neutral buff. Instead of asking who has the most AP to best utilize blue buff, you ask who values the cool down reduction and mana/energy regen the most which vastly increases the number of champions who can take advantage of it instead of if being an AP champions only buff.

But why? Did someone complain that blue buff was too good or something?

IDK but I think its a fair change.

perhaps, but I still have a bit of a problem on the fact that Red buff still favors AD champs more than AP, where Blue now is actually quite neutral. Perhaps if they slightly nerfed the DoT damage that Red gives but also make it so it procs on spell effects as well as basic attacks, I could get behind that

Red buff favors attack speed oriented champions and those who want to stick more to opponents not necessarily AD champions. But since the champions with attack speed obviously need AD its just kind of fits AD champions better but other champions can still take it.

if you are asking who has the most AP only that's your own fault.

there are reasons to remove said buff but yours are silly

Why would you not give blue buff to whoever has the most AP on your team... It gives 15% BONUS AP which is useless for anyone who doesn't build AP.

So when riot redid the buffs...

... they wanted to promote a playstyle in which the JUNGLER didnt TAKE THEIR OWN BUFFS. Thats why the jungle items give incredible damage and sustain while in the jungle; so the junglers dont have to take their buffs and the important laners - the APC and the marksman - can take THEIR buffs.

It contradicts the concept that the jungle belongs to the jungler, but its what riot wanted. the increased XP and gold gains from the jungle are another facet of riot promoting a "the jungle belongs to the marksman" meta.
