Intentionally Game Throwing in Platinum Divisions (Riot, Listen)

Now I seriously can't begin to comprehend why there are people who go out of their jurisdiction to inflict grief upon RANDOM people that they join forces with, with the intention of WINNING a game, yet there is.

My greatest bane is people who leave me for dead. I play jungle, and nine times out of ten I am the core initiator for my team. Now I've got an individual who is pings "I am on route" to a destination where there are enemies (I should clarify, we are BOTH at full health and mana, against TWO enemies, each of which are half health because they ganked and slayed our top laner. I visually see him on route, he is standing next to me, and then as I engage on the opponents, he is hibernating in the bushes. I am not sure what you are waiting for, but when you pinged you're on the way, your allies PERCEIVED that you were going to do something. Yes, I can take a psychological viewpoint to this perspective, because a vast majority of the competitive aspect relies on psychological understanding.

This action is COMPLETELY strategically unjustified. I am not sure who decides what is game throwing, and what isn't - but I sure as hell would declare this as game throwing. It's refusing to participate as a team, worse. It's acknowledging that you are going to participate as a team, AND THEN refusing to do so. Any individual, CERTAINLY at the Platinum division, knows that in order to win a game you must participate as a team. It is strategically unjustified, because he was not in any danger. Any potential trade with his participation would surely have resulted in a guaranteed fight victory.

Oi Riot, come on. You have never replied to a single post I have ever made directed towards you.

Care to share your opinion on the seemingly on-going issue?

Yes. That's the issue that i'm trying to address, is that it shouldn't be happening. Especially so near to LCS potential. This kind of behavior is unwarranted, and should be reprimanded.

Now if somebody says "I forfeit, I can't see this match going anywhere in our favor." Then so be it, we will collaterally concede the game. But you can't be leading people to believe that you've got their back and then betraying them. I mean, if someone doesn't really say anything at all, and leaves me left for dead - that's another story, and if I was the author there'd probably be a couple thousand pages on it.

Truly what it is, is unsportsmanlike conduct.

Dude theres so many other issues I'm not gonna even begin to mention that riot ignores and doesn't cover or even acknowledge.

I gave up on them listening years ago.

No buddy. Unfortunately I grinded from the bottom of the barrel to where I am. The difference between Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Challenger - is as you climb the ranking system, you get a more in-depth understanding of the game is intended to be played at the competitive level.

Therefore I can automatically conclude, that the individuals I am playing with KNOW better. This is predominantly the difference between unintentionally throwing the game (because you're unskilled, or you can claim that you're unskilled, and get away with) and intentionally throwing the game (I.E. my problem. Not a single person in my division can claim that they're unskilled and don't know any better.)
