Kalista Dash

To the best of my knowledge, Lucian was nerfed so that he couldn't activate his dash, every 2 seconds. I mean now, with full CDR and attack speed, he might be able to do it, every 2.5 seconds.

Kalista on the other hand, can seemingly do it an unlimited amount of times, with no mana requirement.

So the best of my knowledge, you balanced it on one champion, and then gave it to another?

In my personal opinion, I think ADC's are supposed to be rangers, attacking from afar, and that their hand to hand combat is extremely limited, I.E. non-existent. Kalista can literally kite for days, and unless you focus fire her down (with a successful CC attempt), she is virtually unkillable. I don't understand why she able to dash, so often, with no penalty.

Can someone explain the thought process on this for me?

I don't know. Her constant dash thing is just annoying to play against. Being unable to cancel her AA is something you can learn easily to overcome.

I'm not even sure how strong she is right now. But I think kalista's made with shorter range than lucian. Also less burst I think. Lucian was always bursty. I'd be tempted to say "different champions".

That being said, I don't like that part of Kalista's design.

Basically she can out run an Udyr, and that should speak volumes in itself.

If Vi doesn't get a follow up CC, she won't be able to catch her, even with a slow smite, a trinity force, and a frozen mallet. She can hop over Jarvan's ult, and try to land a Lee Sin Q on her. With unlimited dashes that's going to be rather difficult.

I mean, the fact that it doesn't require mana, and it can be spammed at no cooldown is extremely unbalanced.

Conditional mobility, Kalista has a horrid early game, low damage, conditional ultimate, no attack speed steroids or attack damage steroids. I had to edit this post multiple times, just since there are so many things she lacks it.

Her design is toxic, but with the numbers she's at, she's fine. As long as she doesn't get major buffs.

The ability to not have to fear of getting out of position, is a rather good buff i'd say.
