Most Underrated and Overrated Champions
This is the 3rd or 4th time I have done this since I started playing in season 3. It is interesting to see how this list changes as champions get reworked and the meta changes.
How this is set up is I ordered from least popular to most popular and highest win rate to lowest win rate. I then assigned values from 1-138 to each champion in those orders and added the scores together. For example, Ryze has the lowest win rate so he receives 1 point for win rate. For pick rate, he is the 85th least picked champion (53'rd most) so he receives 85 points in pick rate for a total of 86 points. The linked Google spreadsheet is how I figured this if you are interested in looking at it. A score of 138 means that the champion's win and pick rates match. If a champion has high win rate and is picked a lot, people think they are strong so they play them (Janna). If a champion has low win and pick rates, people stay away from the champion because they think the pick is bad (Nunu). For balancing purposes, this list could be used to balance the mid ranged scores on outliers like Janna and Nunu. Janna has both high pick rate and win rate and probably needs nerfs while Nunu has both low win and pick rates and probably needs buffs. The highly overrated and underrated champions could mean anything balance wise from only mains play the champ so it naturally has high win rate to people love the play style no matter how bad the champion is.
