Thresh 47% win rate from 53% just with a bugfixe
but it's k, according to board his kit will always be imbalanced
but it's k, according to board his kit will always be imbalanced
doesn't high pick rate deflate winrate
This.
if a pick rate INCREASES yes it does
if the pick rate remains the same no it doesn't
get your facts right
well y'know if the best thresh players have pretty high winrates, and the average thresh w/r is 47%
i think his winrate is being deflated
and he had 53% win rate 30% pick rate before this so no, even bad thresh were doing good before because he was op and now, with a single bugfixe he got fixed
that's all
plus before 7.9 thresh always had a low win rate between 47 and 48%
its the lee sin syndrome
Lee Sin has a win rate 46.79% for Platinum+ players whilst the very best Lee Sin's are earning a win rate of 56.11% with the average rank of these top players being in Diamond II.
LoLalytics ranks Lee Sin at 105 amongst all champions earning a tier grade of Silver.
but people still ban him and complain about him
I don't think it has to do with the champion being overpowered. I think it's just to do with people using him are actually good.
Yet he has a massive pick rate.
Yet he has a massive pick rate.
Then that many people are good with him.
What happened?
Thresh's E - Flay no longer leaves enemies stunned for a brief moment after displacing them http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/patch/patch-715-notes#patch-bugfixes
his E no longer stuns for 0.2 sec
and you can definitly feel the difference if you play against thresh
What was the bug even?

To be fair, calling Thresh's kit not loaded is pretty stupid.
There is most likely other factors you did not consider. Whether its Thresh's counters buffs, or item changes, etc. etc. Such a big fix doesn't make winrate drop 6% alone.
Such a big fix doesn't make winrate drop 6% alone.
Actually it does, particularly when you consider the bugfix had to do with the duration of CC. There weren't significant changes in the patch that would otherwise explain a substantial change in his winrate.
Cool they made him harder to play with the bug fixes. The good thresh players will still be good, bad thresh players won't have a 50% winrate on him anymore. I don't see a problem.
problem is board saying that thresh will forever be broken
