Well, Akali is making me quit this game

After tolerating the mobility creep and damage creep so prevalent in this game for years, slogging through the League of Duskblade this season, Ardent Censor meta, League of Cleavers, after investing countless hours in this game and following streamers and YouTubers for more gameplay content and thoughts, after constantly getting blown up by Electrocute, the most unnecessary thing to ever enter this game (or at least on par with Duskblade), after multiple posts on the boards about how Runes are ruining this game, after the hundreds of dollars I've dumped into this game for skins over the past 6 years, after tuning in to watch NA LCS, Worlds, the occasional EU tournament, I'm done.

True stealth is the most trashass mechanic this game has ever had. Absolutely zero counterplay, there's no penalty for using it, and she can still 100-0 you no problem. Not to mention her self-healing and mobility.

Thanks a lot Riot, you lost a long-time fan and customer today. I hope Meddler, CertainlyT and the rest of the balance team is happy. Glad you brought his ass on board to ruin another game like he did to WoW.

No counterplay? Lol are you for real?

Non-targeted spells still hit her. Darius Q reaches the entire shroud and will hit her. Illaoi can still use tentacles to pull her soul out. Lux can still E,Q,Ult, she just can't AA. Morgana Q still lands Renekton Q still hits her. Her position is revealed under tower. Her position is briefly revealed when she takes damage. You just can't AA her or use targeted spells.

This is basically the same as Ivern bush btw.

She no longer blinks where she wants when she shrouds and the center of the shroud is open so it's easier to tell where she is when she uses the ability. It's on a 20 second cooldown like Vlad pool and doesn't even make her invulnerable.

If you're quitting because of a single champion, you were going to quit anyways, and are just using the champion as an excuse.

Can you all imagine quitting a game over a mechanic a champion doesn't even have? On one that only wins in 43% of your games?

Quitting over a match where you gave up First Blood at minute 1 and went to feed 12 kills because, even though you have been playing the game for years, you never figured out on your own that you can build defenses?

Can you then imagine going onto the boards and making a post blaming your inability to figure out items on the devs and expecting everyone to back you up?

The only thing that makes akali op is her shoroud, the other abilities are ok tbh
