WOW Bronze 5 - Plz Reds hear my cry!

Awesome I totally deserve a Bronze 5 because 5 of my 10 matches had an aft on my team. Yup totally balanced, totally fair I mean obviously I somehow should have still won and that its my own skill and not the lack of a team member that caused me to lose.

What system exist where 50% failure is acceptable. I would take it graciously if I ended up in bronze 5 becuase I lost 5v5 but this is just ridiculous. This isn't right or fair and someone other than me should pay for it. There are others who've had similar experiences and yet no Rioter has addressed this issue so all I can do is click on the report button and pray to God that something gets done about it which I honestly doubt.

Here's the part where you all reassure me that If I am really that good I'll climb outta bronze 5 in no time.

The ranked system is about luck and time investment not actual skill. How many of us have been now winning streaks only to end up with feeders, trolls, or afks in our promos? It happens every time at every rank. The system is flawed.

I'll play your game Riot, I'll enjoy it when I have an honest to god fair fight (5v5 non-trolls), and I'll support your company like I have by buying skins and spreading good word about the game. BUT!. BUT, I swear that if the issue of balance and ranked afks doesn't get some form of a solution or fix I'll start thinking of changing my mind.

But who am I to complain? I'm just a (now) Bronze 5 player who isn't LCS or Challenger and one player amongst millions so why bother fixing it.

I mean it's not like we've had 5 seasons to find a solution?

I think a lot of the time invested must be in preparing for the ranked games in the first place. Consider the rune page you used with Morgana. You are using 23 different runes, showing a lack of focus. Furthermore, you only have 29 runes on that page, you could have a 30th for maximum effect. How many seasons have you been playing normals?

Only one and I don't like the concept of runes to begin with. It just seems a waste of IP for bonuses that just make you better than others with no skill involved.

Also If you noticed my score from that last game It wasn't my runes that were an issue nor my gameplay

If they got rid of runes I would be content

The thing is, they don't make you better than others; they put you on par with the group. You NEED runes to be competitive. Even if it wouldn't have won you these particular games, not having them will make things much harder for you.

When something becomes the standard, having it can't bring you above the average-- it can only bring you to the average, and even then only if you're willing to fully invest yourself in it. People take this game seriously, and if you don't then you really shouldn't be complaining about the system.

It doesn't matter if you like runes or not, if you're playing ranked games you need 30 of them on each rune page and you need them to make sense for the games you're playing. If you can't do that, then you should accept being at the bottom. The Leona fed 10 kills, playing far more recklessly than you or so it would seem, and her rune page has a certain similarity to yours. Just look at the rune page of Shyvana, your lane opponent, if my guess is correct. She had a rune page with only 4 different runes, and she had the full complement of 30 for the page. If you divide her runes by stats, the runes only gave her 3 stat boosts, but by focusing on so many of the same types of runes, the stat boosting is rather high compared to the minor stat boosts you and your teammate got. Maybe that Shyvana player isn't as talented as you are, but that player has still prepared for ranked games much better than you have. Checked the placement of that player, and is at Bronze V, just like you are. My point is you could learn something here. Imagine what you could do with that level of preparation, combined with your talent.

True but focusing on 3 or so runes with only two rune pages available seems like a major headache and I made it to bloody Silver 5 last year without being a boy scout and buying all the right runes.

Also my runes have nothing to do with OP which was more a rant about how I got 5 afk'ers in my promotionals which Is what I believe more responsible for my demotion than a unorganized rune page.

I will take your advice and re-organize my page but I'd rather spend my IP on fun new champions rather than boring free-be stats.

Yeah, to be honest, some people might be going AFK because they don't like your rune page. I don't check people's rune page during a game, but some people do that and might use it as an excuse to go AFK. If you have enough champions to be playing ranked, then as far as I'm concerned, getting some runes that you can look respectable with will be worth the effort. I've actually grinded so much that I think I bought my last round of runes this week(spent over 6000 IP on them and that's after the 30 percent sale, then another 1180 RP for 4 rune pages), and I'm excited that all the IP I'm going to spend from here on out will be for champions.
