Primary/Secondary Role Selection
Why does "secondary" role even exist? I don't think the game has given me my secondary role a single time this season, but I have been autofilled to support many times. For reference my roles are jungle/mid.

This is an excellent question. When it doesn't give me my primary, it tends to give me some random shit I didn't sign up for.
Jungle is less popular than mid to play, so because there are fewer junglers than mid laners, the system is more likely to give you jungle since it's your primary. You still get autofilled to support occasionally, because Support is the least populated role in the queue, and when there are multiple people asking for the same roles, the person who went the longest without filling or playing support is going to get autofilled.
