Let's just see what we're working with.

I just want to host a little survey and see what everyone thinks. I want to get as many people as I can to respond while requiring as little as possible for a valid response. This should be a nice, clean way to express what problem seems to be subtracting from our experience the most without everyone pooping their pampers in the comments section. However, the poll system in this forum sucks. You can only have one question with ten possible answers per post. The letter limit for choices even sucks. I'm going to try and make the most out of it by elaborating a little on each choice.

  1. Mobility creep: Very cut-and-dry issue, the game seems to be based more on using a few hyper-mobile champions to "outplay" other players by simply killing them quicker without real kill opportunities. The philosophy of "killing them smarter" is being edged out. Even "GG, EZ" idiots can beat amazing players if the matchup permits. This problem is concentric to any "assassin meta" issues.

  2. New champs are unimaginative: Champions seem to be made from a cookie cutter. Not only are they just a mesh and reskin of popular (often overpowered) champion skills, but the champions themselves don't always add something. This problem is absolutely inexcusable when the player base is overflowing with excellent champion ideas.

  3. The balancing team sucks: Nerfs and buffs are made without realistic expectations. They also seem to be pointless at times. There have even been buffs of overpowered champions and nerfs to fun, but underpowered champions. It's not surprising that people think they have ulterior motives. The balancing team in general needs a swift kick to the shitter.

  4. The client was made by apes: Coding isn't an easy job, but with all the manpower Riot has, a better client should exist. They've talked about adding replays and other cool features while there are still bug splats. Mind you, we don't have replays either. The store still sucks a little in terms of lag. Riot needs to get their ass in gear and realize what an actual quality of life change is.

  5. Ranked solo queue blunts skill: With bronze now an almost mandatory destination on anyone's road to challenger, everyone has to deal with the horrid toxicity grind through the "gutter ranks" where all the shit settles. Freelo champions reign supreme in these queues and wins are almost a flip of the coin. Leavers and feeders dull the shine of players who want to have their chance at glory. A team based game shouldn't have a queue where bad teams are guaranteed Riot. To those who have made it out of the dumpster, do you still think that a queue that defines individual skill should still be so punishing when your team has a bad game?

  6. Too few items: Although the number of items could be a balancing factor (You can't stack lifesteal without drawbacks), could more awesome build options be all it takes to break the meta and make games truly interesting? Would that be all it takes to make every battle unique and not a race to the Rabbadons?

  7. Public games are unplayable: Public players have become so toxic and stupid that games are won by the team with fewer dumbasses. Life has become so hard for the public player that late game champions may have a measurably lower win rate because of demonic 4-to-1 20 minute auto-surrenders around them. Sure, you can team up in Skype, but lining up a premade can be a rare occurrence. People who just want to have some quick fun shouldn't have to be punished with auto-loss or unsavory auto-win matches. We need more quality public matches Riot.

  8. Alternate game modes are forgotten: Just compare the dominion draft pick queue time to draft pick Summoners Rift. There's no incentive to play the other game modes. In fact, it's mostly discouraged. New features expand to the other game modes at a snails pace or not at all. There are glaring balancing issues in the other maps that are constantly exploited ruining the unique experience. We're sick of the makeshift death match on the rift Riot. We want modes that don't emphasize killing other players enough that they lose control of objectives. Sometimes a 7 step win requirement is fun.

  9. Leaverbuster: Everyone has had a run in with the DC fairy and been forced out of a heated match. Players with a high volume of honorable games can shrug it off. Supposedly, Leaverbuster won't punish you if the DC fairy decides she wants to take a shit on your provider, but it still does. The last thing people who are dealing with unreliable internet need is a 25 minute queue time for themselves and their friends. To those of you who got hit with the queue hammer because of a real world issue, my heart goes out to you. Leaverbuster is punishing the wrong people while the tribunal deals with whatever it's doing right now and toxic players run free. All justice system complaints can ride on this option.

  10. The meta outweighs creativity: Off-role picks are super duper fun. Why can't we embrace them? Remember the days of 10 flashes and 10 ignites? Those days are gone but the new meta is just as rigid. People want to copy what the "sick mlg pros dood" are doing more than blaze new pick for themselves. Why can't we see more tank Sorakas or gold per second mids? It's so fun to out-design somebody with an off build. Why the fuck does Riot think off builds are unhealthy when giga-binary, one stat champions are not?

Choose wisely brethren.
