Which is better AD or AP shaco?

After the nerfs to ap shaco a while ago I let go of him but now that I tried it again it doesn't feel bad like I thought it would. Never was a fan of AD shaco after the rework since he still has the same problem as his pre rework which is his reliance on needing to auto more as the game goes on to get a kill. That playstyle makes team fighting next to impossible against a team/squishes that knows how to positon and makes getting CC or bursted too easy imo. So are there are others who prefer AP to AD or think AD is still better than AP? The only thing I feel that AD shaco has going for him is that he makes more use of an early game lead than AP shaco. But that alone isn't enough for me to prefer AD over AP. Which I also think is way more fun as a side note.

I think statistically, AD shaco is better, while the current "best" build is the Shaclone half tank build. I'm actually a huge fan of the tank build, as i can easily get 3000+ hp by late game and survive for a long-ass time in fights while still doing decent damage. For full AD though, I'm pretty sure it's good, but as I'm sure you're well aware of, he struggles to live longer than a few seconds if he jumps right into a team.

I know AP has some decent scalings, and being able to build 40% cdr with lich bane would make him a threat, with constant q backstabs, but I'm not sure how the two builds compare in a real game. I know hybrid ap/ad was a thing for a while, i think the build was gunblade and lichbane + otherwise ad, or something. That could have some kind of viability still.

AD has better clear and better single target burst. AP is better for laning.

I think Bruiser/Tank is the safest though, just focus more on objectives.

I dont play shaco to very often since his poke was nerfed, but hybrid seems to be fantastic. item 3146 item 3285 item 3116 item 3074 item 3006 item 3078.

Most success i had was with an echo trinity gun core. He actually has good hybrid scaling and a built in crit, so it works pretty well.
