At this point in the game and with the way AP itemization is for junglers I would say she is a bit overpowered. But with a champion such as elise, (untargetable ability, % health execute, % max health damage, AS steriod, healing from minions, scaling stun, and an aoe damaging slow) she is really hard to keep completely balanced. She is either in the category of OP broken or completely useless. Currently in this meta she is leaning more towards overpowered.

Overpowered and broken are two different things. She isn't broken.

Apparently you didn't read my post, but take it out of context for some rebuttal. Kay

You said shes either in the category of Op broken or completely useless, and her current state is not the latter. but she for sure isnt broken.

Gotta love how a few months ago people were complaining how she wasn't viable at all.

Then after a few buffs people are complaining how she is too oppressive... isn't that what she's supposed to be like?

I think maybe the problem is that the OP is too lazy to offer an opinion... but that said, If you want to consider it from the point of view of statistics, then the last I checked Elise is 50.48% win rate, 11.15% pick rate, and 13.33% ban rate. What this means is that even though Elise is valued relatively highly as a pick or ban, she does not actually win incredibly more games than other pick options. It seems to me that the community is slowly adapting to Elise's actual value as a pick in solo queue. She is probably banned more often than she needs to be because she has a strong early game, is good as securing kills, and is valued as a pick in the pro scene (aka Worlds). But when you pick Elise, you are strongly committing to an early game win and this raises her skill cap significantly, because if you don't effectively win the game for your allies sub 30 minutes, your chances of winning the game drop like lead in water.

terms like "balanced" "underpowered" and "overpowered" just don't make sense because Elise is all of these and none of these. The community is really slow to adapt to Elise. But overall statistics aside, you have to look at the players who really seem to know how to play Elise and here is where things get difficult because there aren't that many players who are good at playing Elise relative to players good at playing other champions. Is the majority of the community even using the best choice of runes and masteries? I don't think so. I think the community is so slow to adapt to Elise that most of them still aren't using the best rune and mastery choices for her at the platinum+ level and that's just shocking when you think about it. How can you be in platinum+ and still not using the best rune and mastery options?
