Look, we need to do something about Nasus.

According to champion.gg, Nasus is sitting with a 54% WR and 8% PR in Platinum+ but according to Riot Games, Nasus is still a balanced champion. Well what would you expect with a balance team that overbuffed this champion.

One of the main culprits of his kit, is the new R + Q mechanic which took effect starting from V7.15, 50% cooldown on Q while R is active. On a champion that builds a lot of CDR, this is ridiculous. A rank 5 Q is on 4 second cooldown + 45%CDR = 2.2 second cooldown + R = 1.1 second cooldown. Is this some joke, what was the purpose behind this? Why did he need 50% cooldown refund on Q so he can spam his Q over and over again without any skill. In late game, he can 2-3 shot a squishy target with Q, but now he can kill tanks also which he was supposed to be weak against because of the Q spam but also with the E change also in V7.15. The E now reduces the armor by 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35% used to be 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 flat. So squishies can't survive him, and tanks can't survive him anymore while he spams Q. All while the Q mana cost stays at 20 mana whole game, you can't even legit let him waste his Q and heal up like how you would against a Pantheon. A Pantheon will Q spam but runs out of mana eventually because he doesn't build mana items, while Nasus builds Tri-Force/Iceborn, Frozen Heart so he has like upwards of 1500+ mana with lower mana cost than Pantheon Q.

If the enemy Nasus does a 45%CDR build, you may as well ff because it is done. Nasus Wither is arguably one of the most broken abilities in the game, because it reduces your movement speed and attack speed. Your movement speed is slowed starting from 35% up to 47 / 59 / 71 / 83 / 95%, whereas your attack speed is reduced by half the amount and it lasts for 5 seconds. The cooldown starts as soon as you press W, not when the W is ended. A rank 5 W is on a 11 second cooldown + 45%CDR = 6.05 second cooldown, cooldown starts as soon as W is pressed, so 6.05 - 5 seconds = 1.05 second cooldown. Yes a 1.05 second cooldown on Nasus W with 45% cdr. No amounts of QSS or Mercs will save you. Your tank can't save you because it is a point and click ability.

And everybody says that Nasus is "late game" champion, but I have faced so many and legit after he gets level 6, you have lost lane. I didn't know a Nasus level 6 is late game.

Riot won't care about nerfing Nasus, unless we start to pressure them.

For one, you don't use merc against Wither. There's another boot... specifically designed for slows. item 3009

The problem is Klepto + Coin start, not really the champion. He's coming online too early with all the free gold he gets between the two

Without the % armour shred on his E, he just could not deal with tanks, despite juggernauts meant to be a bit of a meat grinder for anyone who they managed to get up close with. Not just squishies.

His R is a spike of power that does nothing for him if he doesn't make use of that 15 seconds. He'd often hardly break even with the incoming damage even if he got to what he wanted to hit.

You throw a lot of scary numbers around and tell people how they're scary, but...

Level 16 Nasus Q with Trinity Force, Sterak's Gage, 600 stacks, no ult :

Base AD: 117.7 x 1.5 (Sterak's) = 176.55 Spellblade damage: 176.55 x 2 = 353.1 Bonus AD: 20 from Trinity Force Bonus damage from stacks: 710 Total damage: 1259.65 pre mitigation.

Q CD with 45% CDR: 2.2s DPS from Q alone: 1259.65 / 2.2 = 572.68 pre-mitigation.

Maybe you get in another 2 auto attacks while chasing a target affected by Wither, so that's another 350ish damage. So in that whole two seconds you've done, what, 1600-1700 raw damage to someone that you had to get in melee range with, with someone who is meant to do a reasonable amount of damage, and has no innate movement abilities, late in the game? That's pretty much three-four raw auto attacks from: Tristana item 3031 item 3087 item 3094 item 3033 Never mind the Energized procs.

His Q CD reduction is stupidly powerful at level 6 because he used to be able to start to fight back around then. It took that and made him able to really fight back if they didn't disengage.

Also, making a single-cast debuff start its cooldown when it expires? Do you have any idea how much spaghetti that would cause? Between cleanses and tenacity, you can't predict it. If anything, to take power out of his kit, make his ult not go on cooldown until it expires or he dies during it, or make the Q CD reduction scale with ult rank.

He's a mid game champion, because he can't GET to value targets late game when everyone is fully kitted out, and can't make use of that banked damage. And he's going to get hit with the reportedly Kleptomancy and Ancient Coin nerfs. Those are what are exacerbating his gameplay at the moment, since survival early game is trivial for him now.
