Mechanically overloaded champions

Mechanically overloaded champions are the absolute standard of balance right now. Examples LB Yasuo Ekko Pyke Kaisa Jax Camille Akali Kled Aatrox Irelia

etc etc etc, the only exception right now is Azir, and honestly hes probably fine hes just high skill ceiling.

What is even the point of leaving older, non-mechanical champions in the game right now? 90% of them are outclassed at their primary jobs by mechanically overloaded champs who don't even specialize in said job. Example- Jax is a better assassin Nocturne, while building bruiser Jax is a better tank than Maokai while building bruiser Jax is a better duelist than everyone while building Bruiser. Jax is a better split pusher than Nasus while building bruiser.

That's just one example, of a mechanically overloaded champion outshining old champions across basically all roles. There are many examples.

jax isnt mechanically intensive,

simple champions exist to teach you the game, nothing more. the reward for succesfuly playing a super high skillcap mechanical champion is the ability to outplay 90% of the opponents you encounter. but in exchange, youre gonna suck on them for a WHILE, and potentially lose to much simpler, binary champions.

We need a champ where all four abilities are three-part multicasts that each have a conditional reset. One is raw damage/sustain, one is a dash, one is CC, and the ult is high-damage skillshot execute.

He's still pretty overloaded. High/Highest damage in all forms(Burst, Sustained, Tank buster). Damage immunity(Better EH than all the tank items in the game combined in this hyper damage hyper mobility meta) Plus he's slippery. I think the game can afford to not allow Jax to Q to friendly units. Hes going to be overwhelmingly strong even if he goes 0-4 in lane/jungle.

Jax overloaded lol? But you have a point though, the WW rework was a good example of what needs to happen to older and less skill expressive champions with non-existent skill cealing. There should be more reworks of the older champions ww style, to get them more skill expression and a higher skill celing with outplay potential but still be acessibel to newer players.
