On-hit effects and lifesteal.

Does lifesteal count as a on-hit effect? Like if you had sated devourer does that mean every other attack would have double lifesteal?

Yes and no.

On someone like Warwick that has a lifesteal passive, the passive triggers twice.

On someone who builds bork, the passive triggers twice (and works with lifesteal since a few patches ago).

But the 2nd attack does 0 physical damage, so if all you have is like a bloodthirster but no on-hit effects, then no, because the 2nd hit won't do anything (0 phys dmg). That's why most sated junglers build bork, because bork gives you a lifesteal effect from magic damage.

yeah im like 99% sure

after sated first came out, the cheesiest thing you could do was get sated, Ravenous hydra, bloodthirstier, blade of the ruined king and spirit visage and another tank item. SO MUCH LIFESTEAL.

Only if the on-hit effect itself specifically works with lifesteal.

For example, Blade of the Ruined King's passive.

You will not heal from the damage dealt by Devourer or Wit's End since they do not interact with lifesteal.

devoure is not just on effects. its poorly worded. there are things that are not "on hits" like dianas cleave. or yi's double strike. these are special attacks and unique abilities that trigger twice. also other things trigger twice that are not on hits. basically. anything that is affected by your auto attacks or anything that affects your auto attacks. outside pure damage. is affects by devoure.
