So Rito, the title is a thing. A very good thing. Ppl just don't know how to do it. I know that our little outrageous gem hoarder Taric is up for a rework very soon. I'd honestly ask that you don't do a gameplay update at all and just do visual. But i know that wont be listened to more than likely because hes probably very far into the rework already. If I had to ask you to please keep a few things, then this is what theyd be.

DEF keep his W. The armor stacking is obviously kinda his thing.

I really want the passive to stay the same as well. Being able to spell weave and constantly use abilities is a fun and not often seen mechanic.

I think the Q heal should be similar, or just another "supp" like ability to keep him viable down there.

The stun could probably be dropped, or changed entirely. Is fun, but maybe like a radius stun like Riven.

And the Ultimate; I like it obviously, but changing it completely couldn't upset me

BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GEMS. Plz do not make my wonderful Taric Top opop only viable as a supp. Whatever you do rito. Dont confine me to the bot game. Also......Taric OUTRAGEOUS

trust me i know the wrath of taric top and its even better with the fact that iceborn has a 20% cd and once u get spirit visage you really cant die the only thing is his ult is useless the stat boost is nothing, ive gotten sorce shoes instead of merc treads once in awhile, he does take a bit to get rolling but once you do its hard to kill you, renekton is the one person i have had trouble wtih because his heals out does mine. tarics mana cost need to be lowered. his w needs to be the same i wish his passive was more like 30 % instead of 20% his stun would be nice if it stayed the same amo8iy of damage no matter the distance, but it would be nice if it gave him a movement speed boost when running to enemies. his ult would be more usefull if it had a some sort of cc like aoe stun or aoe knockup like leos but only around him or something like if under the effect of w or e somehting happens

You should have almost no problems with rene, he really doesnt have more sustain then you do and his mana costs aren't really to high to begin with, with shatter running like a measly 55 mana cost at lvl 1. his highest mana cost is prob heal which is understandable because of the lane dominance it provides. Also, what do u mean that his ulti is useless? son you be cray, the bonus stats that his ulti provides the team along with the burst it does is scary when used right (ie. don't just start a fight with a opening r for the stat boost cuzz ur doing it wrong then). His stun damage potential proves that his meant to be in the middle of the fight rather then the backlines as a tanking powerhouse able to soak up damage and return it with team oriented plays going along with his passive. i mean getting to pull 2 ultis off in one team fight is scary when it assists the team as much as tarics does. Final note, i've found that merc its pretty useless and there would be no reason to use sorc at all. best boots that i've come to find are swiftness as the give a strong flat ms buff and do almost the same as merc with the reduction of slows and ms impairing effects. All in all the biggest thing about taric regardless of what lane ur in is that ur not there to "deal" damage but give ur team the ability to make plays off ur tankiness and ability to give them bonus stats and health, he's all about the team and not about the solo play.

30 ad and 30 ap at max is not good..... and i get the merc treads for the cc reduction many atime i have died becuase of the cc and if i supp i sit back behind the adc in teamfights becuase its the best way to peel people off them, and i start with 100 armnor at lvl 1 when i go top w plus clith armor means good times and i have found out that getting sorce shoes plus abyssal scepter means your burts off your w is fantastic. re read his ult the team does not get the full stats that taric gets renetkon has no cost on anything just cds so he can outlast taric

Also an idea I had at one point was to make all of his abilites and stuff different gems. Like make the stun a flying emerald or etc.

Taric top is strangely strong, and i love playing him. got a 60% win rate with him right now its kinda funny. In all honesty i dont think he's really that in need of a kit rework. But while we can wish and hope he doesn't get changed to much, we have no control on that factor. I do agree that his passive and w should stay, as well as his stun imo. Maybe a tweak here and there but the stun is a strong part of his kit as he can run around stunning 3+ times in a team fight as long as you proc your passive which can be just about as deadly to a team as the stun god Leona. Hell the way he is right now is fairly balanced and he just really doesn't need a kit rework at all just some number adjustments. I usually just play him as a full tank top lane to help the late game regardless how I do in lane. His ulti is really strong when utilized correctly and being a tanky SoB who can't be ignored dude to shatter/heal+iceborn proc really shows how dominate he can be. It's quite sad how people disregard him now a days.
