Trade Talon’s Level 2 Cheese for Power Elsewhere

We’ve all heard the stat that Talon is responsible for some huge fraction of First Bloods. Much of that percentage is due to how his passive and base damages relate to early HP values at Level 2. The gold and experience leads from these first bloods artificially inflate his performance, masking his ‘real’ strength with an early 400 gold while frustrating his opponents.

If we slightly nerfed the first rank of W, or his passive, and slightly increased its damage growth, then we could remove the cheese and buff Talon elsewhere. Higher ratios, higher base damage growth, higher base stats, bug-fixed leap, you name it. Ideally, the buffs would strengthen him across the board, since removing the cheese would tank his statistics.

Well, he is a snowball champion. He needs to be powerful in early game, specially in level 2. It is kinda his first power spike. All you need is just dodge his W comeback. This is the biggest mistake that most players do. They go straight, don't do any side step and naturally, get killed by his passive, ignite and because of runes.

His passive just needs nerfed.

Its stupid that he can trigger it so easily.

The easy way to not fall victim to level 2 cheese you're already expecting is to not let the person just throw it at you. We don't really need to nerf and change him when that specific strat is easy to play around if you're expecting it.
