Advice against Draven?

This is not a QQ thread. I have little experience as ADC and even less against superior Dravens. However, I'm sometimes pitted in this role as my brother is a support main and my backup opt-in is ADC in order to be paired with him.

At a glance, I find that Draven's ability to catch axes is quite powerful - even overwhelming any attempt to discourage him from catching those axes. Specifically, attacking Draven as he's repositioning seems to have little effect in comparison to the additional damage from catching axes. I'd appreciate some advice for laning against a Draven who's skilled in abusing the passive.

You have to attack him from range. Draven has to literally run forward to attack you and is predictable. You have to kite him similar to how you would with a Jax or something melee. Make sure youre not in range for him to all-in you. Oh and also dont pick Vayne vs him youre just asking to get slaughtered.

Pick a long range champ like Cait, Varus, or Ez who can poke him from a distance. Don't let him get kills. Ever. There, now you can lane against Draven.

Draven wins any 1v1 trade. You have to coordinate your autos with your support, so when you make those small auto trades, it's 2v1. Buy executioners calling early. Don't let draven take extended trades. Draven wants to all in you, so don't let him. Force a lot of small trades, rather than a few extended ones. And make your support take exhaust.

Dealing damage while he's catching his axes is a big part. But use your skill shots to do that. It's best to play safe at max range to take cs. Keep an eye on his axes and position away from them. Like to the other side of the lane. He can out trade autos but one skillshot and an auto will more than be enough. In other words. Distance and snowball. People like Cait, Var, and Ashe are pretty good at abusing his axes. Cait is probably your best choice because of her range and q. On top of having traps that would discourage him from catching his axes. Caster adc's like Var and maybe Luc are his bane. Var q does massive damage. Also if you can poke as soon as he has thrown an axe you are golden. HINT: If a Draven can catch multiple axes, they will eventually start to follow a line.
