Just had a draft game where the enemy team had no jungler - they had 2 ADC/Supp pairs instead. Understandably, Fiora didn't do too well top. I tried ganking often, which always resulted in one or two kills for us, but she still died multiple times in between my frequent ganks.
What should I do as the jungler when my top is in that kind of situation?
It's really Fiora's fault for being so brash in a 1v2. All she needed to do is sit under her turret and wait until your team accumulates a level advantage.
Perhaps try a lane swap between top and mid if your mid laner had better range and waveclear and could thus cs safely from safety.
If that wouldn't work you probably would just abandon your top laner since they're doing badly. Giving them kills just means they'll turn around and give the enemy more gold when they die again. Try to win on the rest of the map instead.
Tell you're top laner to just play safe and build defense. Unless they're a Renekton, in which case they're probably already fed.
If you are the laner faceing a 2 v 1
Golden rules, pro players do it all the time, it is called lane swapping, many do it willingly, and this is how they survive
1-pre level 6 they never push lane, they farm under tower
2-you make sure if you can't get the farm to at least get the exp
3-Keep track of play styles and patterns, this will be the difference between life or death, notice how they are playing and think of a plan on how to captalize on it
4-since it is a two v one, you will be leveling faster, the moment you are level six, ask for a gank and you and the jungler will be stronger for the enemy laners will be level five while you are both level six, or one level six and one level five oh and you both have offensive items.
IF YOU ARE THE JUNGLER
1-keap track of signs if the enemy laner is about to get dived, eventually the duo will go for a dive and you will want to be their to punsih
2-keep track of your laners items and levels, for eventually you both will be stronger
3-Use the fact you have no competition in the jungle to power farm, and do creative jungle path ganks
Both of the enemy top laners get less exp and less CS. This is why it's not meta to have two top laners. A good top laner will let the duo top dominate the lane and farm under tower. Most top laners can farm well under tower and as long as you can get 70 cs by 10 minutes there shouldn't be a problem, and if you play safe and don't die, the enemy top laners will both be underfed. Treat top lane as an additional bot lane, gank when you can, but don't force yourself to camp top.
If your top lane starts feeding and blames you, there's nothing you can do. Chances are your top laner would have lost a 1v1 lane as well. Just put the pressure somewhere else. They are turning the rest of summoner's rift into a 4v3 so you have a massive advantage mid and bot and should be able to put tons of pressure there and win at least two of your lanes.
