Talon vs Zed

I just want to really know which is better. I see more Talon games in the bottom right hand corner of the screen when they scroll through Diamond games. Is Talon more used in high elo? Whenever I try to play Talon in ranked people ask me to play Zed and they say he is better in every way, but I just ignore them and play Talon and i have like A 65% winrate with Talon. But, I also feel Zed is more flexible when it comes to being forgiven for doing bad. Talon is like a Feast or Famine champ in my opinion.

Zed every time, Talon is a really cool champion, but Zed is just better. I still prefer Talon just because I feel like I lose my dignity just for playing Zed.

If you like Talon, play Talon and ignore them. He's a perfectly good assassin.

This is exactly why he's not played outside of high elo and people prefer Zed to be used. He's very forgiving and post-6, nearly impossible to feed on and very easy to get fed with by simply deleting a squishy. While talon has a great kit, he's very much a feast or famine champ who requires a fair bit of skill to use.

Yea, when Im behind I feel i am useless lol, but when I am ahead I can literallly 3v1 easily.

There are a few reasons to pick Talon over Zed.. Some are arguable but...... Talons Ulti is lower CD, Hits more people and can shred everyones armor with black cleaver. Talon isnt heavily reilant on his ultimate, he can E Q W someone squishy and score a kill, Not that Zeds passive doesnt help with this idea. I think Zed is stronger as a split pusher than Talon, and Zed has more forgiveness as you said. You can make a mistake and get out pretty safely. This also leaves more room for "out plays" whereas Talon is pretty readable..

All in all.. I'd say Talon: +team fighting +active fighting +low CDs // -Lacks escapes after engaging -Hard to catch up when behind in CS || Zed: +Split pushing +pickoffs +escaping // -Ulti Reliant -Highly Item dependent.

Just my 2cents. Also Talons Silence was removed so engaging can be a lot more risky.

For me... I think Talon is better because he is better for his team providing aoe damage with his w and r.... but Zed has a better escape and better passive. If they were to fight 1 v 1 , it depends on who uses their ult first... For example, If Zed uses his ult first.. he is easily countered by Talon ult and if Talon uses his ult first... likely Zed can juke and come back and ult Talon ... Also Zed has been nerfed a lot... so my conclusion is that Talon is better right now but he might be nerfed in the future where he stomps games
