How do you deal with toplane Vlad?
I tend to play big health champions in top lane (or
) and
is a nightmare for me. Does anyone have any tips vs Vlad?

get an
early then start building tanky mr items
Sigh...I don't even like the MR items.
I'll do it obviously. I just favor the armor items over most MR items due to their effects.
I hear where you're coming from I think riot should add more magic resistance items however it can't be done easily because galio exist
Yeah...though I wouldn't mind seeing Galio be strong for a bit.
Kill him early on. His Q has a ten second cooldown and his pool is 26 seconds. I know you must be thinking "Wow! That's great advice! I should just kill anyone I lane against." He's HORRIBLE early game because he's gated by his cooldowns. It isn't until around level 7-9 that he starts becoming problematic. You keep the pressure on and don't let yourself sit back and get Q'd / autoed.
EDIT: And if you're confident in playing an immobile mage top and have good ward coverage, Swain makes Vladimir shed tears of anguish.
What's the cooldown on the ability that steals health from a distance (pulls blood in four streams I think) cause that's the one that always makes me lose trades (I tend to run after since I'm usually too low after he does it).
That's his Q.
Q = The life-sucking ability. It has a 10 second cooldown at rank 1 and only goes down by about a second every rank up. W = Pool. 26 second base cooldown. E = Tides of Blood. It always has a fairly reasonable cooldown, but costs him a good amount of health to maintain early game.
You really shouldn't be afraid of Vladimir early game. Vladimir is very susceptible to harass and his Q healing is overrated early on compared to other characters with sustain. Combine this with the fact that he has no way to CC anyone trying to go in on him and is extremely squishy and he can be easily stopped.
i start a game with vlad with 13% cd reduction so... do with that what you will.
He is very weak early on with massive cooldowns, but when fighting him later on you will most likely need to go all in or he will outsustain you.
harass and deny their farm... pressure will hurt their moral/mental...
if you play tanks top, vlad should be no prob, early mr and run him down he pretty much cant do anything till like lvl 8
Kill him. If he has a jungle, your lane is lost.
Vlad was and always will be crying at the presence of the iron revenant
get on him, and murder him. He relies 100% on his cd's and his early cd's are pretty significant (even running a ton of cdr in runes like I do). He relies on cs and levels to do anything at all mid game, don't let him have either. A lot of tanks have decent enough base damage and some cc or gap closer to get onto and hurt vlad. Take advantage of it and do not let up. Also be sure to ward, because playing that aggressive makes you a beacon for junglers. If you put a pink in river bush, and keep aggression up. Vlad won't be able to go clear it, so it is 100% worth. If you relax pressure for too long he is going to just out sustain you. So don't let him have his passive early game he wants.
Note this does not apply if playing Nasus. Vlad is going to be super aggressive into Nasus as it is the one lane he destroys early. Get a Dorans Shield to start, get your Visage and then just make sure to be Nasus when the time comes.
Have your jungler gank him.
<--thats how you deal with vlad. it also makes you a horrible person in geenral to play either of those champs.
Early on you have to engage on him. His CD's are high and he is still soft early.
And ranged champ or mobile champ that can get on him can beat him down early.
If you can't, let him push and call for ganks
