I can speak gor gnar since i play him so much, but not Hecarim.

Gnar is in my opinion very well balanced.

He has clear and defined weaknesses:

  • ult can only be used as mega gnar
  • requires an adaptive playstyle
  • managing positioning from mega and normal form requires skill
  • managing rage bar requires macro skills

And some of his strengths:

  • safe in lane
  • can work as a front liner or as a back line peeler
  • decent damage
  • excellent mobility for a fighter
  • lots of CC

Gnar's rage bar is one of the hardest passives to deal with when trying to time a countergank tp or to engage a fight.

I don't think he needs a nerf.

I just looked this guy up on Op.gg He plays mostly Tryndamere. No wonder he hates Hecarim and Gnar.

great explanation! taking into account.... absolutely nothing about their gameplay or what makes them strong in your opinion! Wow I'm sure riot will see this and nerf them right away! (Or maybe you just don't understand the champions and how to play around them...)

I know how they play. I hate GNAR. He has too much utility and kits for what he is. Tank, escape, CC, and range. Comon that too much. I can never win against him no matter how well i do my lane cause he just go and kill my teammates. I can't win no matter what.

I play a lot of Gnar. He isn't invincible. Although he is strong. He gets countered by junglers and top laners with tons of dashes and mobility. Early ganks set him really far behind. Champions such as Yasuo and are great at explioting mini gnar's lack of cc while dodging most of mega gnar's cc. The reason why Gnar is such a strong champion is because he has all of these things. (range, kite potential, CC, tank stats, escapes.) Except he doesn't have them all at the same time. one well timed gank to a mega gnar after he has blown his cooldowns and you got yourself a kill. As I said before. If you learn the champion, you will have a much easier time playing against him.
