People who get fake penta!

Really grind my gear. It one thing to get a penta by yourself but seeing streamer on Youtube who get penta because their teammate decided to let them have it is just stupid, but the worst part is they are celebrating realizing that their teammate could have gotten the kill instead but ops to let them have that kill.

It like no, you didn't actually get a penta. Your teammate decided to slow or not take the kill to let you have it. It the equivalent of a teammate in basketball not getting rebounds so that said player can get a triple double or break some kind of record. I mean you really didn't deserve it and at most you get a quadra or triple kill.

Of course I would do the same and give my teammate a penta if I can because I would hope they do the same for me but it the principle and the act of celebrating when it not even a real penta. That what really grind my gear.

Here's a tip:

Close down the client
Turn off your computer
Go outside and breathe in some air
Realise that this is a game and the idea of whether someone got five kills in quick succession or not should not affect your life in any way, at all.

I've got no problem with teammates giving the Pentakill over. My problem is when the enemy is like "lol, you got the Quadra, I'll just walk to you now."

yes but the vast majority of penta's are team efforts.

it;s not like this person literally 1v5 and killed every single one of them (i.e. no one on the pentakiller's team got an assist). perhaps this happens, although it must be exceptionally rare and even more so considering pentas are rare occurrences to begin with

so you could argue that any of the previous 1-4 kills were"donated", unless perhaps that person did majority % damage on each and every champion. and even then, there was probably a support or tank in there locking them down allowing the killer to get free damage.

so sorry but you don't really have a point

but yes pentas that would have been quadras but the last enemy whom would have escaped decides to come back and die are fake. i pay no attention to that and it even cheapens what would have otherwise been a nice quadra imo

As someone who sucks with TF but got a pentakill before getting a game with more kills than deaths,

I earned that Penta. I worked hard to steal three kills, kill the fourth and then ult to the lowish health Ezreal in his base for the fifth. I deserved to go from 1/13 to 6/13

By that logic the only true Penta is in a 1v5 situtation. At any time your teammates could have gotten the kill not to mention in a teamfight you may not be doing the most damage you might be just last hitting, also you could/would be taking a lot of damage but the tank or support is helping you, you teammates could have CC'd them too making it easier... So honestly if we go by your logic any Penta you get in a teamfight is a Fake Penta because you had your teams help.

I hate when after someone gets a Quadra, the enemy decides to turn around and give them the free penta.

Penta's are Earned, Not Given
