Being able to withstand tower diving. When are you at you tower hugging it, its impossible to keep your Blood Rush. So now enemies can tower dive you without fear.
On the flipside, its harder to maintain your Blood Rush when the enemy is hugging their tower, so you cant tower dive as much as you could before.
So basically Aatrox got screwed both ways. One more thing about him that was somewhat unique, gone.
DunkinNoobs2 votesYou're kinda boned if you're getting shoved in as Aatrox regardless. Bloodwell may have saved you from dying occasionally but Aatrox is still a very aggressive champion and playing passively doesn't suit him at all.

DunkinNoobs1 votesNew bloodwell is meant to reward aggression, and the fact that old bloodwell occasionally saved your cowardly tail was a design flaw. The new bloodwell is much better from both a thematic and gameplay standpoint, even if Aatrox is severely undertuned right now.
