Moving on from Garen and Darius

I'm looking for a similar champ but a little more complex, any suggestions?

overbearing lane bully that can build full damage full tank or 50/50 and hurt people? how about Renekton

his biggest counter used to be ryze, im not sure anymore. Garen also used to be a counter, but its not a hard counter. Vayne is also a good counter to renekton as with all melee top laners, however he has a dash, and a stun so if you get in her grill and face punch her and get out you can hold your own.

early game he has decent sustain with his Q and reasonable wave clear. once he hits level 3 its hard to out trade him if you know how to play renekton. he can get in, do damage, and get out with no counterplay in most scenarios. Slice->stun->Q->Dice out with no response from enemy and get max health gain by hitting a champion with your Q. Mid game is where renekton shines, his TP plays can be devastating with his aoe damage, single target stun and persistant damage from ult he is an amazing anti carry. Bruiser builds with max cooldown work best.

item 3074 item 3071 item 3158 item 3065 item 3742 and a situational 6th item works really well. lucidity boots +cleaver +sorcery mastery gives max cooldown, hydra give waveclear and sustain, and tons of health= Im going in, and theres nothing you can do about it.

he used to be the top lane boogy man and is the reason that ryze was ever even a thing in top lane.

Dayum that sounds pretty promising, will pick him up when I get enough IP, never played a champ with mobility + cc so it looks pretty dope, I've laned against renekton before and got absolutely rekt but I don't see him all that often, is he king of what he does for his niche or are people picking other champs over him?

These days Riven is the go to lane bully. Renekton is less aggressive than Riven, but can live longer in team fights and has much better early game sustain.

There was a time when he ruled top. Not sure but I think other champs just became more popular in meta then him changing much

Chogath Go for Cho, he's stupidly OP in power spikes quite literally. Annoying with a well placed knock up and silence, possible summoner flash to you and eat you, or at the very least ignite you.

Cho is useful for team fights as well with his knock up Q, and long ass silence. His Q also helps your Yasuo who is almost always sure to be on your team since every mid match involves at least one Yasuo, or else League would delete itself.

So yeah, get Cho, get 6 stacks from using your ult on minions and become unkillable while doing shit loads of damage, especially to ADC's hahaha.

Ive seen how crazy he can get when fed, so it's something I've always thought about + the robo cho skin is so good, but I need some rp for that so renekton is still in the lead right now xD
