Why can't neeko's ult be interrupted??

Seems everytime I ult her with popblossom goes through 1 second later anyway and interrupts me.

What happened to "just cc it" ?

It's a long wait with a long cast animation and can be dodged easily. Not sure what the problem is besides the damage. It has kind of the same impact as old Galio's ult.

It's an ult channel. The only champ that can interrupt ult channels is Kassadin.

MissFortune has an ult channel and she gets interrupted by everything

Lucian as well

Nunu as well

Karthus the list goes on..

What happened to consistency? No where in the tool tip does it read "Neeko is unstoppable during ult channel"

Separate types of ult channels.

MF is actively damaging the entire channel, as is Lucian, and nunu is charging and the damage happens regardless.

Karthus is actually an inconsistency for some reason.

Neeko is in a category of channeling ults along with Lux and Ezreal.

When they begin ulting, it will go off regardless of cc or otherwise unless Kassadin Qs them or they die.

its not a long channel. it's a single cast with a delayed spell activation, which is why she can use other skills during her ult be4 it activates. it's like ashe ult, if ashe shoots the ice arrow out and another player cc her, the flying arrow wont stop.

Neeko's ultimate isn't a channel. It's just one huge cast time.

Cast time abilities (like Lux's and Ezreal's ults) can't be cancelled by anything but death. It's the reason why she can ult Zhonyas herself.

You sure ? since Neeko can move and Ezreal and Lux don't , something is different

I'm sure. If it was a channel, this:

Would appear above her head when she uses it, but it doesn't. She just has the ability to move during the wind up period.

If it was an actual channel, using Zhonya's in the middle of it would cancel it, but it doesn't.

Unless it got a hidden nerf, Ez can both E and Flash during his ult and it will go off from the place Ez started it regardless where he is now, because his ult is just a long cast animation, not a channel.
