Why does Garen get a 1.5 second silence?

Because without it he would be a worthless champion and you really haven't thought this through, you just died to a silence and now you want Riot to basically delete Garen.

Because swords silence people, right? But if you think thats overdone you should look at the new cancer top champion Viktor packed with long range poke, shield, speed boost and AOE stun and ult.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Everyone was fine with him for years, then suddenly (with no buffs mind you), he is OP, but Riot needs to nerf him.

I don't feel he needs nerfs, I feel he needs a rework, his kit isn't op, but it is mind you, VERY frustrating to lane against, and if he gets ahead, he is actually a pretty annoying champ all throughout the game, silence feels awful to die to since you can run, but since garen is so fast there is no way to get away (basically, his silence gives you false hope)

So we should rework every single champion because people are dumb and like counterpicking themselves? Or pick a champion blind and then proceed to be surprised that they got counterpicked? Nobody cared about Viktor at all. Hell people were even claiming that he was too weak not that long ago. Now suddenly "he needs a rework/be gutted" just because people don't want to adapt?

um? i never said a full rework, just a little more counterplay outside of survive his combo and a little more to make garen feel good to play, a garen flash q spin combo can kill any squishy, but thats all he has, they need to give him a few more options (but not make him super mechanic heavy) like perhaps change the silence to a slow and add a stack mechanic on his E where if he hits you, say 5 times, it stuns for 1 second, he is just frustrating to play against as he A) Doesn't scale well, unlike the other juggernauts B) very frustrating to lane against as you cant actually punish him for his mistakes, C) Is un-viable in most elos
