Why all these crys over devourer?

Have these people even looked at its stats?

50% attack speed 40 magic damage on hit

+1 magic damage for each large monster kill +2 magic damage for every kill/assist

Why do you guys think this is just so Op? I simply do not understand this. To me it looks very similar to item 3091.

the only difference I see is less damage, no magic resist, but can be powered up. Oh Yeah... one more thing it cost 350 less

Is it the fact it can in theory be powered up to the point of 1hitting a Alistar while he's using his ult without a single other item? Well you do and don't have a point there. You people crying are forgetting a very very important game affecting concept... ready?....TIME!!!

For example we will use a magic item thats exstreamly powerful...

item 3089 120ap + 30% = 156

Now most abilitys will deal anywhere from 60 to 100% on hit. For the sake of you people argueing the ohko effects of devourer we shall do it at both 60% and 100% as far as stacks needed.

60% of 156 = 93.6 rounded up 94 100% of 156 = 156

stacks needed

60% = 27 stacks (thats 27 large monsters or 14kills) 100% = 116 stacks (thats 116 large monsters or 58kills)

Now I for one have never been in a game where a player had gotten 58 kills or assist or even 29/0/29 So the 100% wont happen even if the enemy team is snowballing. at 60% I can see that happening but even if 100% did happen I don't see them being about to 1 hit anyone esp when you factor in magic resist items.

So why you guys crying again, Suck it up momma boys

Two things, and you touch on one of them.

It's cheaper and it powers up -- meaning it can quickly become a lot more damage early on than Wit's End.

It also can build off of Skirmisher's with smite which adds bonus true damage ON TOP of the magic damage on hit, making it even more crazy.

You do have a small point I still don't find it that OP.... well on second though maybe if it was on a Nasus Jug

It's not really that bad. People just don't like the ideal that an item can stack into the late LATE game. They don't take into factor that 40 magic damage is pretty nil when base MR is 30. Ect. Ect.

Warwick

with zero stacks, that on a Skirmishers adds 200 magic damage and 90 true damage onto his ult at level 6. His base damage is 250 so with ONE item he more than doubles his ult damage.

On top of that his ult is a point and click suppress... yeah... not hard to see why people are complaining.

this sob is actually fucking right

Warwick lunges in front of an enemy champion and suppresses them for 1.8 seconds. During this time, Warwick attacks his victim 5 times, dealing a total of 250/335/420 (+200% bonus Attack Damage) magic damage (triggers on-hit effects 5 times).Warwick gains 30% Life Steal for the duration.
