Who counters Malzahar?

ve'koz is a pretty good counter to him. as all of vel's skill shots exceed malzahars range and he doesnt have a way to get in so he is stuck just farming. plus vel'koz is better at cs and teamfighting.

Everyone if they buy / or have burst

Poke mages like Ziggs, Lux, Vel'Koz and Xerath all hive him a hard time. Basically, anyone that can pop his Shield and deliver punishment to him out of his range.

Anyone with wave clear can neuter his pushing power now leaving him in a pretty exposed position. Without his shoving you can easily pop his passive, then he is just free kills.

Anyone with a knockup/knockback or that can live through his ult.

i think cassio is good into him. she matches his lane push, can easily pop his shield, is great at dueling and scales. She does not build health so the %hp on malz ult doesnt do as much (also she is good with serephs so the shield makes her tanky to survive his ult). Malz has no escape so miasma prevents him from flashing away form ur insane dmg.

Because of his Voilding 3HP changes, as soon as he summons one, your turrets will kill them before they can even get 1 attack off. And his E, especially at the early levels, can not even take half of the turrets HP.
