Smite Color before Vision of Enemy Jungler

Today I noticed that you can see the smite color before you actually see the enemy jungler with the item. I was against an Evelynn and when I tabbed I noticed that the smite color was blue (Chilling Smite), which told me that she had upgrade to a Stalker's Blade, even though her inventory only showed she had a Hunter's Talisman. Overall this isn't a big deal in my opinion, but with the removal of not seeing what the enemy buys when they are dead, I feel like we shouldn't be able to know what item they have until we have vision on them.
