If Intentionally Feeding is reportable, why not Intentionally Killing an Intent Feeder?

(Ignore my salt)

As you can see by the picture, that I made careful to block names so no one would get harrased, I had an Vladimir who intentionally fed after giving first blood to the Darius. After running down some lanes some more, the Darius actually called him top to keep dying to him (which he did). He taunted things like "Vlad give me 4 items b4 20 mins" and "I'm going to honor you Vlad". We begged not only for the Vlad to stop intentionally feeding, but the Darius to not kill him.

Long story short, It is not only the person who is intentionally feeding that is ruining the game for others, but it is also the one that keeps purposely killing the feeder, knowing that it is intentional. If we are all supposed to be sportsmanlike, how does killing someone you know is purposefully trying to die to you demonstrating this behavior.

Personally, I reported the Vlad and Darius and unsportsmanlike conduct. Was the report on Darius justifiable or would he get an offense?

Thoughts?

That kind of unsportsmanlike behavior is def reportable! He is clearly being an unsportsmanlike jerkoff. However, it isn't likely that the Darius would be banned for this one instance because at the end of the day he is merely killing an opponent who has decided to feed endlessly.

BUT! Behavior like this is probably a symptom of being an overall jerk in his matches. It's always good to report people being jerks, because overtime our system builds a profile of that player and their behavior. If they're acting like this in a game where they have the upper hand imagine the kind of tantrum they're likely to do when the feeder is on their team?

Can't blame Darius. In the end we are all trying to win, and if an intentional feeder is running down my lane, I'm killing him, too (although I wouldn't taunt in chat).

Vladimir is the only justified report IMO.

Because killing enemy is one of objectives. How you do it is not important

The taunting / bragging is definitely unsportsmanlike.

Killing an intentional feeder however... well... the problem is that first and foremost, you have an obligation towards your own team, and only secondly to the enemy. I mean, say you ignore the feeder, and you are kinda low. Would you stay on lane and risk that this feeder suddenly starts attacking again, and thus most likely also get a hefty bounty? A feeder is still ultimately an enemy and thus an inconvenience at least. You can lose an advantage fairly quickly, and to lose it because you are trying to be nice... well, I'd risk it if it was only my own win on the line. And I'm certainly willing to risk it, if the rest of the team agrees. But I won't decide on my own whether I should risk my whole team's advantage for the sake of being friendly.

Vlad is nixed for sure, but Darius would only probably get some if the tribunal were about.

As it stands, the automated system will probably just phase him through. Should he be punished? Again, I'd leave that to the tribunal.

i wouldn't ask to be fed but if there is a kill there i'm going for it sry

and Darius is getting off scot free cuz the automated system (in place of the tribunal) is shit

you can arrest someone for stealing your money and giving it out randomly to people on the street, but you can't punish people for accepting the stolen money.

Player behavior is unpredictable. Unless the intentional feeder is walking up to turret without attacking anyone or anything, I will kill them. If they attack me, what am I to do? Ignore them even though I know they're trying to goad me into killing them and that I could end up giving the enemy team a kill if I do not retaliate? Their gold value diminishes with each death while the gold value of the person killing the feeder increases over time.

I don't taunt enemies unless first taunted, and only after punishing them for their cockiness and only if I've time enough to spare, as in there's no enemy champion left nearby to kill or avoid.

I've played a game where a dude was performing badly on enemy team and seemed to be feeding, but also just appeared to have a bad start and possibly feel it was a lost cause to turn around yet wanting to go in and dieing from being behind. Yet he was fighting, just all in on fights he unlikely to win. Yet when the ideal setup due to how a teamfight would play out he would get a nice kill or double kill ect. So he still trying just seeming to feel it is a lost cause and not being terribly picky which fights to take. Some people like this you can't avoid killing them because they do want to kill you and will and it almosts looks like they are switching between trying and not trying but more subtle psychology likely going on.
