Edge of Night seems far too abusable right now

Seen it on a Yi, seen it on a Darius, and seen it on ADCs. This item needs to be looked at because it's getting poached by non-assassin classes, and that probably means it's too strong.

For one, the cooldown on its effect is too fast for such a good effect. Basically it prevents many mages from actually retaliating against you once you've dived in, while providing firepower to the attacker at the same time (Banshee doesn't provide firepower, which was a drawback to getting it). Take Lux for instance; what can she do against a spell shield if she can't use her Q to stop her attacker? Other than die, very little, because she can't wait it out before she's dead. And once she's downed, she comes back out of base and gets slaughtered again in the same way. OPPRESSION!

Also, 10-second duration on something that should be tactfully-timed? That seems like it's giving players too much margin for error. Lower the duration to at most 5 seconds, and then players have to actually time it right. Separates good players from bad players (I won't say "good from great").

But even if I'm going to get downvoted like crazy because "git gud", Riot, you need to look at the item and see if it might need adjusting.

item 3814 Yorick item 3814 Snitches get shovels.

You need to be out of combat for 1.5 seconds for it to activate and if you fail to activate it, you have to wait 3 seconds to activate it again.

Also, Lethality items were designed so that building more than one is inefficient because of all their shared unique passives.

item 3147 item 3814 item 3142

It's basically pick ONE or have an inefficient build.

Well, the Yi who was using it could just ult, use it as he's going in, and then any mage he attacks will be utterly screwed because they can't wait 10 seconds for the spell shield to expire or use one of their spells to break it, and then they'd have to contend with Yi's Q dodging.

I have no issue with the "out of combat" part, but I think the spell shield needs to last up to 5 seconds, not up to 10.

Named Unique passive (e.x. Spellblade) don't stack with other passives with the same name.

Unnamed passives on the other hand, do stack with each other as long as the come from different items. The MS and Lethality you get from Ghost blade will stack with Duskblade, however you can't stack two ghost blades.

item 3142 and item 3814 don't have named Passives, only item 3147 does, so they all still work fine together.

I'm actually pretty okay with this getting picked up on other roles.... As long as the trade offs are noticeable.

I'd presently say the trade-offs are not enough, and that the 10-second duration of the spell shield gives too much margin for error on the part of the assassin. Not to mention it doesn't allow mages to wait out the spell-shield.
