Ghostblade is the lever item Riot wanted for assassins

So Riot made saying they wanted it as a lever around which they could assess assassin balance. Only problem is, the item is kinda redudant. It does lots of damage. Great! There are plenty of those items, and none better than . Perhaps unintentionally, Ghostblade already took the role of goto damage item for AD burst champions. And its what making that redundant feel for Duskblade, which uses the same stats.
