One remains active until it is depleted while the other disappears 1sec after 1 hit. http://i.imgur.com/GCZhZnX.jpg http://i.imgur.com/vaCcLbM.jpg Yas can easily rebuild his shield without sacrificing anything to improve it, while Malp on the other hand not only has to stay out of combat to have it back up, but will also have to pick multiple hp items in order to make it as proficient as yas' late game 510 dmg absorption.

Welfare passives like yasuo's arent fair for champs like malp who actually have to contribute to make their passive more effective, and has a risk such as staying out of combat. The only way to make this a fair playing field is by giving malp a free double crit passive on top of his passive, make his e a dash, and give him a couple of Japanese yelling quotes.

I'm not a yas main, your argument is still trash however. They are in fact 2 different champs and this kind of argument is bad, but it happens so often I should call it flat out fallacious. You CANNOT compare a single ability on two different champs and make a meaningful argument.

What about malphite's pointclick yasuo ult? What about malphite's free stats? What about malphite's reliable CC that doesn't require any skillshot or charges?

Yasuo struggles to clear waves while malphite deals tons of splash damage

Quit bullshitting.

and this is why youre full of shit, Yasuo can't even hope to clear a wave without casting 2 spells or build static shiv which leaves with with no choice. Meanwhile malphite gets a tool for this built directly into his kit.

Quit bullshitting.

Removing the shield and giving a small compensation buff (SMALL) elsewhere has been mentioned in the past. Still a good option. Even not building tanky, he's not exactly lacking in safety in laning phase as long as the person playing them has a small amount of experience on him (easy to learn, hard to master).

Malph is going to build multiple HP items anyway. And he doesn't have to stay out of combat for ten seconds to refresh his shield, he just has to be careful he doesn't get hit.
