how many divisions can you actually skip in one promo?

Like, if you have Faker's MMR and are in bronze V promos, how far will you skip

thought i've heard of cases going more than 2. I wonder if anyone has experimented by Dodging promos over and over again.

that's it? even if you're Faker in b5 the highest you can get is b3?

Correct because even if you're Faker the ability to skip divisions is based on MMR - you can only climb so high in rating before you hit promos and you SKIP when your MMR meets the higher division requirements.

This is based on my own personal knowledge, so by no means Riots writtne law, but I've won straight through a division, and only gone up one. I have seen people start in B5 and jump to 3 and to 1 from there. You can search the forums and people have claimed to have jumped multiples higher than 2, but I've seen seen actual proof of it occurring.

there's also a question of how high could you be before it lets you skip promos. IE, I've heard that if you fail (likely by dodging) enough promos but your MMR keeps rising, at some point it'll straight up skip the promo series itself. So if you're bronze 5 with, say, gold MMR, let alone Faker's, you could hit 100 LP and move to bronze 3 with no promo at all.

I wouldn't know from experience though; I've been fairly lucky as far as promotion series go and never had to take the same one more than twice before making it.

I'm jealous now. I've been in bronze 5 -> bronze 4 promos at least 10 times. passed like 4 of them only to get demoted again because troll/afk. Maybe I'm going to start skipping divisions soon if this keeps happening xD
