Ok so AD assassins are getting a better early, they needed it so that's fine, but what about AP assassins?. Leblanc is going to remain great as she simply has better mechanics in her kit combined with amazing mobility but what about the rest of them? Fizz, akali, diana, ect.
Doozku2 votesMost of the AP assassins that are having problems is more from their kit rather than items. Also riot doesn't consider Diana to be an assassin so I am not sure how they would balance her.
Penns2 votesId say it kind of is because of items, they are forced to mostly buy standard AP items that are balanced around ranged mages. Also there is 0 magic pen to deal with 
other than boots and assassins cant really poke before going all in like mages can.

Penns2 votesYeah but that item is... bad. On assassins at least. Still, you can barely penetrate 40 base MR everyone with mr runes has with all the flat magic pen you can get including runes and masteries. Abyssal was good because of that, sadly its kind of bad now as well.

Penns2 votesI was about to write "outside of Liandrys" but deleted it because its so bad on assassins it basically doesnt exist lol. Tho Haunting Guise got buffed a bit, that one might be pretty good, not sure yet.

Yeah, and? You can't simply build an item just because it has a single stat on it that you want. It's not efficient or even good at all to build that item on AP assassins.

Completely worthless against tanks and fighters/with even a single MR item. In most games I can't even attempt to target anyone else but the ADC because if I try to go after anyone else I'll either fail and be forced out of the fight or just out right die. Even mages just buy an hourglass which negates your ults damage and allows them to wait for their team to back them up.
Even if I get a perfect engage on the ADC they'll typically have a support with things like face of the mountain, locket and redemption to save them thus making me useless. What happens most of the time though is that the one and only person I can theoretically kill (the ADC) is behind their entire team where I can't get to them at all. I've been in plenty of situations where I've basically had to watch a fight go down without doing anything because I can't damage tanks, and if I try to get passed them I just get CC'd and die instantly. If they have fighters, then a single MR item is typically enough to destroy my damage while their damage remains MORE than enough to burst and kill me.

Tanks? No he shouldn't do amazing against those in the first place. Fighters? Yes he should beable to kill them because otherwise what's the point of him existing in the first place. To kill ADC's like EVERY other champion in the game can do? From the start assassins should always have far superior single target damage to any other champion class out their but that's just not the case. It hasn't been that way for atleast 4 months.
This is especially true if said target only has 1 bruiser item of resistance stats against you but still far out duels you because of it.

Wasn't specifically referring to only early game buffs, I was referring to buffs in general to push them along. Also, I've always thought diana was an assassin. learning something new every day.
