Your Most Unbelievable Win

Just now, I had the unlikeliest of wins. I'm still not entirely convinced I didn't dream it. Okay, so here's the story.

In champ select, last pick begs in all caps for Annie to be banned. She doesn't get banned, he begins calling the banner a fatty and an idiot. I considered aborting right there but didn't. Thought "it's only one person." Picks one and two go top and jungle, my two best roles, leaving me with a difficult choice to make. I briefly considered Heimerdinger mid, except would've been facing a Yasuo, a matchup I wasn't thrilled with. I decided to go Sona support, since my ADC skills are more or less nonexistent. Fourth pick goes ADC, leaving our troll to mid lane. Only he insta-locks Tryndamere with ghost and ignite and says he's going support. Again, I debated aborting the match, yet didn't, thinking maybe he was just messing with us and would go mid.

Once we're in the match, he goes bot and says for me to go mid, that I'll do better there. I tell him no I certainly won't, but he refuses to leave and Jinx just goes mid. The minions spawn and I had my trinket and a green ward, so I warded both tri-bush and river bush. Initially their ADC was the only one around, then Wukong showed up in the river bush, causing me to back off and signal Tryndamere to be careful. He ignores the map and my ping, dies, then puts the blame on me. Following this, he abandons bot lane, going top for a kill, then mid, leaving me by my lonesome.

Lucian likewise leaves bot lane and I just practice my last hitting with Sona while I ask for someone to come down to help. Wukong and Yasuo (their mid) occasionally poked their heads in on bot lane, yet never really made an effort to kill or even harass me. Eventually Jinx stops with the duo mid nonsense and comes down bot. She dies in similar fashion to Tryndamere and, likewise, blames me for her death when I had no means of saving her. Next, she comes back to lane and we get into it with whoever was bot at that time. Jinx looks a second away from death, so I spam everything to try and save her. End up with a completely accidental double kill. Jinx goes off to mid lane again to pout, saying I can push the lane myself.

I do just that, only Yasuo is stupid enough to clue me in that he's at dragon in all chat, so I backed off, despite our top laner telling me to go at the turret. Yasuo shows up in the area of dragon, just as I thought. Bot lane then goes back to "normal" with me just mostly farming and building AP because, at that point, "why not?" Tryndamere disconnects a little bit later, making it a 4v5 for just about the rest of the match. Luckily, our Shyvana was tanky and strong as hell and could basically 1v5 the enemy team. Unfortunately, though, Jinx found another reason to be salty. It was her, Shyvana, and myself in a team fight and I, again, just sort of face-rolled the keyboard, casting all my abilities... including heal. Jinx dies, Shyvana picks up the kills, and Jinx asks if I even use heal.

Despite Shyvana doing her best to carry, they took out two inhibitor turrets and inhibitors, the minion wave at one point reaching our nexus turrets. For a while, they kept crashing our base and it was all we could to do just hold them off. But Shyvana kept doing her thing, and I got some more kills that were face-palm worthy. One I was chasing a Yasuo who was one hit away towards his mid inhibitor turret with Jinx trailing us by a bit. I a) didn't think I'd regain enough mana in time to actually succeed in hitting my Q and b) didn't think Jinx would find a way in range in time. Got him with my Q right as I was about to walk into turret range. Another time I was stupidly chasing a Wukong who was maybe one or two hits away from near our red all the way to somewhere near their blue, and the moron turned back on me instead of just finishing his easy escape. I ulted him and finished him off. Oh, and my last kill was on Yasuo. He and one of his teammates were at our second to last bot turret and I unloaded on them. Yasuo got away with the tiniest sliver of health. I couldn't believe it. What I really couldn't believe, however, was that he walked right back in range of me. I ulted him, getting the kill.

After a while, Tryndamere reconnected, allowing us to push mid. He took top lane, killing their jungler as he pushed, and we all but aced them at their inhibitor turret. Wukong was three quarters of the way up top lane and the only one we didn't kill. We took out the inhibitor turret, inhibitor, and both Nexus turrets before Wukong finally recalled just in time to watch us finish off his Nexus. I ended up going 5/9/23, and we won 65-35 in 41:42.

I don't know that I'll ever see a match to beat this in the "unbelievable" category. But I'd love to see you all try. What are some of your most unbelievable victories?

Here, is this enough potatoes?

But I'm describing a 40+ minute match full of ridiculousness. Of course it's going to be long.

my most unbelievable win was once me and my friend were in duo Q and somehow we both had a bug splat that could not be fixed. although he gave up trying to come back to the game, kept trying. 20 minutes in the game, i finalle manage to get in the game. for my surprise, my team were winning a 3v5 and the katarina (who was the most fed) had like one of the weirdest builds (she had a meijays and a sunfire cape only) we rushed down mid as soon as i got my ult (i was Sona) and we finished the game at around 26 minutes

I can't believe you kept trying. I was playing a co-op match recently and our Riven spent the entire time trying and failing to get into the match and stay in it. If it was a ranked match, that'd be one thing, but it was co-op and so I would've just given up if it were me.

I think your win outdoes mine, though...

If you got stuck bot lane, don't worry about taking a few kill. (It just means your that fed.) Also KSing tends to happen with sona. She just does that much damage. I don't usually build her AP because you almost never will be able to build enough, AP. but hey, more power to you.

Trust me, I know. It feels like I have a random double kill every match with Sona. Though it's actually every 4 matches, now that I look. My double kill average per match is 0.26. With Malphite it's 0.12. This amuses me greatly.

Anyway, I never really worry about it. It's just my teammates never seem to understand how easy it is to accidentally KS with Sona. I've found the same can be true of Leona.

I have recently won an ARAM game as Nasus vs Teemo, GP, Blitzcrank, Twitch and Yi

Once I even managed to win as Warwick in a 4v5 in an ARAM game by being a cheeky tank than wouldn't leave them alone, peskily following them around forever with my Frozen Mallet

Just going to leave this here. As a side note the Nasus complained and was toxic all game :^) it felt amazing to win the game even if that guy was trying to ff every 9 seconds
