It's every bit as hard not to get completely trashed in Lane as it is for Junglers to secure Dragon/Rift Herald, Gank, or donate Blue Buff. Win Jungle occasionally.

Seriously though, everyone always complains that the position that costs your team the game is always the one they weren't playing. Complaining about "laners" is the same as complaining about your whole team.
