What's the point in Kha Zhix?
He's item and level dependent and ideally wants to snowball, except he's not much of a Carry Jungler as all you can really do is clean up the ends of a team fight/skirmish or perhaps, if you're lucky, pick off a straggler. But he's not like Rengar who can suicide bomb into an enemy team, kill the enemy ADC and deal decent to obscene amounts of AOE damage to anyone nearby. Nor is he like a Yi who, once fed, can use Q 5 times in less than ten seconds to annihilate an entire team. Meanwhile champions like RekSai/Vi can arguably do way more damage in fights throughout all stages of the game, while also being tanky enough to survive being focused.
Meanwhile Kha Zhix seems to be a champion that, from where I'm standing, barely does enough damage to one shot a squishy even when they're isolated, can't even dream of doing so when they're near their minions, let alone their own team, and often ends up having to build one or two tanky items but still ends up with negligible survivability. Right now, Kha Zhix seems to be the worst of both worlds from where I'm standing - can't build full damage because it is, in most cases, pointless, and also can't build traditional bruiser because the damage that he would do with one or two damage items and the underwhelming survivability that he would gain would yet again be pointless, in most cases.
Do bear in mind that I don't really play Kha Zhix, in fact I haven't played him since Season 4. This is mostly just an observation from seeing him played in my Ranked games or on stream, and I'm honestly curious as to what the opinions are on Kha Zhix's current state, and what people think he currently functions best as.
