The main reason I don't use team builder

Is because when I play this game, I don't think "I want to play Mid today" or "I want to support today."

I get in the mood to play champions not roles.

So what I typically do is autolock the champion I feel like playing, then say what roles I'm filling.

I'm not gonna autolock Zed and call Mid, for example. I'll say: "Filling top/mid/jungle."

If I'm playing Vel'Koz I'll say "Filling mid/support."

I do like Team Builder. I do. But it isn't very conducive to the way I play. If I want to play Zed, and go into Team Builder, I HAVE to choose ONE role. I can't potentially jungle, and I can't potentially go top. When I autolock him and fill in normals, more people get what they want. Not to mention the queue times for normal blinds is far, far faster than Team Builder.

I am under the belief that Team Builder is the way the queues should be. It needs to be incorporated into all queues in the game. But it needs improvements.

I have similar reasons for not playing teambuilder. When I queue up for a game I don't know neither what role nor champion I'm going to play. Sometimes it's like this: if I'm going to support I'll play Bard, if I go top I'll play Garen or Lissandra depending on the team comp, etc... With teambuilder I can't adapt while having to wait longer to find a team.

Not everyone plays teambuilder because they want to play a specific champion. Some may want to try out certain team comps or strategies. I personally just like to noob-stomp because the matchmaking is so god-awful.

I think it would be best if you just stick with normals. Team builder at least from my opinion was meant as a way to get the role you want and not really the champ. If anything play with friends to help you get in a team builder game!
